1. Lovely one of a kind fretless made by the North Wests Paul Everson. Think this Bass was advertised on here a few years back. I bought in a private sale in 2011. I do know the Bass was made in March 2010. Heres some specs from the man himself: "A fretless 35" scale, this instrument features a unusually narrow neck (36mm wide at the nut and about 19mm thick at first fret) and a custom made humbucker from Bulldog. The woods are African Walnut for the body, maple and ebony neck, figured french walnut, ebony and brass trim". It has a hand wound custom humbucker by Bulldog pickups . Its passive with Vol/tone and a humbucker/single coil switch. Its a bolt on neck, silky smooth finish on body and neck, the E on the headstock is inlaid brass, as are the sidemarkers. Excellent condition all round except for the wooden bridge surround which has a split, and there are some scratches near the bottom strap button. This bass retailed for over £800 in this spec in 2010 £450 or may trade for something interesting. Comes with hard case.
2.
The Blx range I think, I have a blx 150 sat on top of one of these in my front room! lol. Over kill? yes, for a home amp.
Not sure, think this predates the BLX series by a good few years...
3. What was the combo? Never came across it.

PRICE DROPPED
6. 1990's Trace Elliot 1x10 Cab. Owned from new, I've never actually come across another. rated at 150 watts at 8 ohms. Solid ply construction, black tolex covering and kickproof steel grill. Original TE badged speaker, undefeatable tweeter and bass port. Pretty good nick for its age, still sounds great, I used this for my double before it became my recording cab. I really don't use this anymore so time for it to go. Has a rubbery orange slip cover that my girl of the time made for me. £100 ono. Buyer may collect or I'm happy to post at the buyers expense. Any questions, please. Cheers, Mart.
7. Never found one I was happy with. They all suck the low end. Billy Sheehan is right: To retain proper bass tone with a pedal, you need a dual amp/pickup rig.... Just for the record from what I can remember, I've owned these (in no particular order): Nobels Bass overdrive Boss OD1 Boss Bass OD Fultone Bass overdrive Dave Hall Audio Bass Tube distortion Ibanez Tube screamer modded for low end Some "Boutique" thing from the states Sansamp bassdriver Sansamp programmable bassdriver DAM audio Ezekiel 25:17 Bass fuzz Coloursound overdrive Ratt (not a bass one) Amptweaker Bass tightdrive And thats not counting the ones I only tried out. If I want overdrive/distortion now, I just turn the gain up full on my AD200.........
8. Just bought a P Bass neck from Simon. A pleasure to deal with, great comms, sent quickly and well packaged. How things should be, top man.
9. PRICE INCREASED, UNABLE TO EDIT TRADE PRICE LISTING FOR SOME REASON.... 1980 Dimarzio Brass Bridge. (Spotted by an eagle eyed bass chatter and confirmed by Dimarzio). This came from a '78 P Bass I bought over christmas. The bass weighs a ton as it is, so this bridge is history! It will fit later Fenders with the 1970's screw layout.... £25.00 including postage.
10. I'll take that mate. PM me for how you want paying. Cheers.
11. My amp of choice for years. Have an Orange bump.
12. Definitely an early Blazer. Tbhat bass is the same body shape and headstock as my much missed Cimar. The "mysterious chunk of wood" is filling in the original pickup route.....
13. She sold a stack of stuff after he died. You could buy stuff through his myspace page. Very sad.....
14. PICS TO FOLLOW EMG's first active pups with exposed pole pieces if I remember rightly. Based on a set of 1960's L series pickups, meant to be quieter and a touch tighter on the bottom end. Active, they have push on harness connectors and are in the Vol/Vol/Tone configuration as you would expect. One of the battery wires has been cut, but this is a simple solder and tape fix. Think I have the box and instructions but I'll need to dig the out. £70.00 plus a fiver for postage. Cheers, Mart.
15. Bought a Hipshot BT2 from this fine lad. Ariived superfast and was well packaged. A pleasure to deal with.
16. Thats a USA cab. I personally think the B HLF and BSE HLF are some of the best cabs Ampeg ever made. bargain bump!
17. After months of searching in vain for a decent used P Bass body, I took a chance and bought a "repainted 1976 Fender Precision body" off Usa ebay. my heart sank when it turned up: The worst kind of rattle can respray, (inc cavities and neck pocket) and a small route out the back, "a battery compartment"....On closer inspection, its a nice weight, the contours are well cut and sanded and having nitromorsed the neck pocket, there are definite signs of the all important stamps...Fingers crossed and I'll keep you updated.
