1. It's gonna be like Christmas
2. Can't go wrong with black, goes with any outfit you care to wear.
I think I've just done a little wee...
I hate to think what you're going to be like when you see the finished article !!
3.

Wow !! A stealth GUS. That is one mean looking bass. I'd be really tempted by one of those

5. OK, I'm going to ask a really dumb question, just out of pure curiosity... What separates the Laklands from Fenders ??
6. Clever paintjob. At least it's different
7.
They (Spear) are made in the far east and are ideal for Seoul music. Good if you fancy a Korea move. Mart.
This produced a double groan from the bassist in Glasgow
8.
Yeah I love 'em too... Quite surprised that Vinnie Colaiuta drummed on The System.
...and the god that is Dan Huff produced them as well. Good to see another Jackson player on here
9.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the body shape will look like when he gets around to doing that.
Yeah. It's going to be great to see what he comes up with.
10. It's looking a bit good isn't it The wait is going to get painful now !!
11.
I wanted an acoustic(ish) to accompany my guitarist's Adamas.... I gave up unplugged because without spending an 8x6 shed load of dosh it wasn't gonna happen....
You guys must sound great. Adamas' are rare breed indeed (with the carbon fibre top) and the Viper is a great bass !!
12. That's a cool bass. Should sound fantastic as well. Geez, the guy's a great singer, songwriter, bassist and now he has a cool new bass. I have no reason for hating him at all
13.
It's stunningly bloody lovely.
Sure is
14. Blimey, what a great, compact rig
15. Very cool bass I read an article in Guitarist yesterday with Mark Gooday, the guy behind the Trace Elliot bass. He's now the head of Ashdown and the bloke behind Lodestone guitars which use the same headstock design as the ol' Trace Elliot bass. Shame Guitarist decided to photograph the guitars face on for the review. The photo of the guitar with Mr. Gooday sees from the headstock end where you can see the angle of the tuners.
16. It's pointy, but it's cool
17. I'm one of the lucky ones Jen was quite surprised when she saw the number of musical cases at my old flat, but never once has she said I have too much gear! She knows how much my music means to me and has always been very supportive (even when I sold my Fender '51 RI and my double bass to finance my 9 string. She really liked those instruments). When we were away in the States last month we got married in Las Vegas, then flew/drove across to New York. We looked in music shops at each place and I found something I really wanted to buy. Together, we surfed the 'net found one and had it sent to the last hotel on our journey. It's give and take though, I went around with her looking at perfumes and DVD's!!
18. I sure hope that the pain subsides on it's own accord. Peace Mark
19. So far, so good. I like the colour as well.
20.
30-odd lbs is pretty impressive for a 15".
Even more impressive when I have a Mesa-Boogie 1x15 which weighs 85lbs
21. I've got passive, active and a combination of the two. I had my Sei changed from passive to active as it didn't have enough 'zing'. A few holes later, a Schack pre was in and it sounds great! I had a Fender '51 RI with a SD in it and it sounded pretty darn good! Unfortunately, I had to sell it to get the funds together for the ACG 9... With a combination of stuff, I've got a Mk1 Fender Urge with passive and active in it. Sounds great wherever the knobs are.. ...and just to sling in a curve, my Jackson has active pickups and passive tone controls. I've been tempted to change the pickups and have it passive. The passive vs. active debate definately isn't straightforward. If it sounds good then it's right
22. With the weak $, stuff from europe is more getting more expensive, so you were right not to buy !! Gear made in the USA is another matter.... I was in the States last month and brought back a USA-made Ovation Elite-T 12 string electro-acoustic which cost me just $659 (about £340 ish). It came with a great Ovation case as well.
23. Can't go wrong with that mean threesome !!
