I'm selling one of my RBX 775's It's the flat blue. I have 2 silvers ones, they are all I use now and the blue one that is in a far better condition than my main 2 but It just never gets used. It plays aswell as the others but I don't need 3 of them. It's up for £200 plus post to the U.K only. Collection is welcome but am happy to post at buyers expense. These were discontinued a while ago and the 375 took over which is no where a patch on these. The dots are stick glow dots as these were never made with markers, but can be easily removed in 10 minutes. PM me or call on 07956 9641546
+1 on the 210T, works the 3500 very open but tight. I run a VX115 underneath as I like a bit of warmth and found the aluminium cones too bright
get yourself the new hartke 4 10 hydrive, it's light on wheels and very punchy, thats what i use with my ha3500

I picked this up as a part exchange with a guy who had my EBS HD350. As I already have the HA3500 which I am more than happy with this HA5000 has to go. It's in great condition and full working order, all pots are good and all graphic eq lights work as they should. In all honesty if Hartke made a Hydrive 2x10 I would keep it but I have no use for the biamp function. Please note you can use it in a full range set up with one cab, at 4ohms you will get the 500watts and slighty less at 8ohms. I will get a pic on here later tonight. Looking for the £200 that it owes me from the deal plus postage, and collection is welcomed to. Any questions either PM me or call on 07956 964156
Quite interested in these myself in my search for a small, lightweight and inexpensive setup. Been looking at 2 of these with the LH500 and the Ibanez Promethean 210 combo. The Promethean would be nearly 300 quid less. Have to admit, the 4/8 ohms switch, whilst a great idea, makes me worry about reliability issues in a "more things to go wrong" kind of way. However, I bet when teamed up with the LH500 they sound great.
I've the hydrive 4 10 and I'm using it instead of my proline ebs 4 10, it's light small tight and alsome, I bet the 2 12 is much the same quality
So I just need the ganja, and I'll be ok ?? Thanks for all the tips guys. I'll get watching and practising.
I play in a reggai/skar band, to give you a basic idea, first just think route note and low 5th's if your timing is good that will instantley give that backbeat feel. Also thing triads, ie route 3rd then 5th, this is what the old madness lines were about, I know thats not reggai but slo it down with a backbeat feel. And remember SPACES MAKE BASS'S oh yes and dn't forget the ganja man.( only kidding, those were the days)
That's a good exercise - to play the 3rd & 7th - but that should have been preceeded and followed up with a complete progression of 2-note combinations. Go over to my website and download the lesson Understanding Intervals: http://www.joehubbardbass.com/cool-free-bass-stuff/ This lesson covers the basic theory of intervals. To apply this to your bass, play all the 2-note combinations (intervals) through the Cycle of 5ths. Look on the theory lesson and it explains "interval inversion." When playing the interval combinations through the cycle, play the interval in both inversions as you go through the cycle. Also explore some fingering possibilities as well. Isolation drills using 2-notes is a great way of stripping things down so you can start to hear how these notes fit over a harmonic progression. This is basic stuff, but built in a progression will build a solid foundation and really help you to understand how to play and hear the notes on your fretboard. There are many exercises that I use to implement this. If you don't really know all the notes on your fretboard and where all the possibilities to play them are, then download The Random Note Finder Exercise on the same page. Hope some of that is useful to you. Sorry you are not being taught what you should be at an established University- shame on them! This is common though; many people who call themselves teachers do not have the capabilities (or the knowledge) to actually teach- especially when it comes to jazz improvisation. Best Joe
Hi Joe, A mate of mine used to have lessons with you, A guy call Matt Hooper. P.s Vanishing Point is one alsome album

I'm toying with the idea of going for a change Bass wise. This Mexican Jazz 5 Deluxe is a grate playing and sounding instrument. The 3 band circuit is the same as the U.S model, I know because I had one of each and kept this one over the U.S.A model as it played far better and sounded much the same. Overall condition is very good, a nice straight neck and board. There is one small chip in the paint work where the body joins the neck and a couple of small dents. Serial no. is mz7115423 so it seem to be one of the earlier mexican models. You may be able to se a very slight crack on the 3rd picture on top edge of the headstock, it is purley surface and does not affect tuning of playabilty. I am looking for a peavey cirrus bxp 4 as a trade, must be good condition I'm looking for around £400 on this, there is a little movement, It can be shipped (uk only) at buyers expense (£20). Welcome to view or come and try. Any questions pm me or call on 07956 964156
My Peavey BXP Cirrus 5 (bubinga top) bought a few months ago in order to learn to play 5-string basses is very sadly up for sale due to me being a public sector worker now facing redundancy – but it’s OK as I’m hugely reassured by multi-millionaires Dave and George saying we’re all in this together. Now equipped with brand new D'addario strings and professionally set up done by Bolton Luthier Phil Hartley, the bass is in “as new” condition having been used a few times at home for practice purposes only. I’m looking for around £300 for this immaculate instrument. I have initially shown a general photo but will be more than happy to supply any pictures you may require. I’ve a decent camera and can hopefully show prospective buyers some good detail. The eagled eyed amongst you will notice that the strings in the picture are not D'addarios! This is because I took some pictures before the bass went to the luthiers (just in case). (I am sadly and very reluctantly selling my Rickenbacker 4003 too, please see my other listing if you are interested). I would prefer collection only as I've had bad courier experiences in the past. I’m happy to travel a reasonable to distance to exchange the item for cash or further afield with modest re-imbursement of my fuel costs.
shame you ain't closer, I'm looking for one of these at the moment
