fluffo, with the shallow cutaway on the treble side (where the small scratchplate is) this looks like one of the earlier and more desirable first series TRB5s, not a TRBII. Probably a moot point as the pups and electrics have been changed but the early TRBs usually play better than the later ones in my experience. Good luck with the sale, Ian
thanks mate will amend

Yamaha TRB 5 string bass bolt on neck, with some great added features, it has a pair of nordstrand pick-ups and an audere 3 band active eq, this really sounds good with enough variation to get any sound or tone you want. Yes it has some scares and the luthier that installed this system made a pigs ear of the jack socket, which has been moved to the lower bottom horn, as we all know barrel jack sockets can play up hence why it has been moved and changed. A small scratch plate has been fitted but this can easily be removed. As far as the playability goes this really plays well with a nice low action all frets are in good order with very little wear. Comes with original hard case. Looking to either sell or trade/swap for 5 string jazz of some sort, any suggestion will be considered.(jazz deluxe would be perfect but lets see what comes up) Other option is to swap for a 70's jazz bass neck or other jazz neck I am willing to sell for £350, Its worth that in eq and pickups email or call on 07956 964156
I’m tentatively looking for trades for my Carvin LB75 w/Kahler trem. The Carvin has a narrow string spacing which I don’t mind in isolation, but I’m finding it tricky to switch between basses. It’s not getting played as much as my others, so that’s the only reason why I’m getting itchy feet and considering trades for it. I’ve written a whole review on the Carvin here on Basschat, so there’s a whole bundle of info in there. Here’s some pics: ...and with the trem arm in place! I’m after a direct trade for another 5 string fretted or fretless of the same value. No Fenders or MM not my particular cup of tea. I could also be tempted by an eub.. If you’re in doubt, I can only say no!
Hi there, I got a jap trb5 with nordstrands and audere preamp if your interested, a little scared but sounds alsome

Here we have a mark bass lmk head with rack ears 600watt @ 4 ohms, excellent condition and a mark bass 4x10 hf front ported cab, the cab comes with cover. Both in excellent condition. Looking for ebs head and cab, either 2 x 10 or 4 x 10 and either hd 350 head or td 650. Will sell seperatly but I want to avoid sending, collection or central meet up.depending on milage. I want £500 for the cab and £450 for the head or £900 for the pair. Will be looking to chop them in if I don't get serious inquiries in the next couple of days. Will post some pics later today.
I know what you mean. Still waiting! As a rough rule, the 350s with the black lettering on the blue background run down to 4. The ones with the white lettering which run down to 2 ohm.
big big thanks to ebs freak thats relly cleared this up for me, mine has white writing on blue back ground so will assume this is a newer model. I just traded my lmk mb and mb 4 x 10, wasn't sure if it was the right move but gigged the hd350 with one ebs cab the other night and was blown away, still tempted to get a td 650 tho, just to be greedy!!!!!

I have recently traded for a ebs hd 350 and ebs 4 10, which I love, I have also now got an ebs 2 10, both are 4 ohms. The amp spec states a minimum 2 ohms which sounds right ie 2 x 4 ohms drops to 2 ohms, but on the back of the amp above the speaker outputs it says "speaker outputs 2 - 8 ohms"I thought maybe my amp is of an older design but it also says this on the new ones and on all spec details of any age amp. I need to know prior to plugging them both in as It may not like it and I don't want to go changing again. All relavent info much appreciated, come on boys tell me what you know. fluffo over and out

However, both these cabs are 4 ohms which I dont think is aloud with my head. Does anyone know of any way that I can around this. Thanks.
don't do it dude the mb gear is 4 ohm min and two 4ohm cabs drop it to 2 ohms, it will go bang!!!!!! I am looking for a proline 2 10 and if your interested i have a mint condition mb 2 10 traveler cab at 8 ohms
