The mark two is desirable and should be in the region of £750 - £900 considering that the condition of yours is pristine!! good luck andy
you know that and I know that!!!, mind you it has a few digs here and there, although I'm now starting to get the right sounds from it so may keep it, and yes i's cheap but it ain't sold yet, love the feel of it just got to get it sounding right.

  4.
This bass is a beauty but having bought a Schecter which does what I want so much better it's just sitting there doing nothing. It's got new strings on it, comes with a faux suede strap and straplocks and a (slightly battered) musicman hardcase. If there are no acceptable trade offers I might consider a cash only deal but due to the rare nature of the bass (being as it is with a matching headstock) I'd be looking for £850. It's in great condition with a few minor dings but nothing which penetrates past the lacquer. I'm based in Medway, Kent. I am willing to listen to any (sensible) offers but this is just a feeler as I'm not desperate to offload it, it's a superb example.
I got a yamaha attitudeII ,the billy sheehan signature model ,over £1500 new if your interested, I think you may have bought this off me a couple a years ago, It has a chip on the upper part of the body?? mark in Belvedere

  7.
Hello I was just wondering if anyone out there could suggest a set of High C 5 strings. The last couple of sets I have bought where the Warwick Red 6ers and just forsaked the low B because that was the cheapest option. Recently I have decided that I really dont get on with them so thought I'd ask you fine folk to give me opinions. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
exiler strings are excellent your buy a standard 4 plus a high c ,a little pricey but they last big time
  8.
Hi, just wondered if anybody had any experience of these pups.
the kent armstrong pups are blinding, I put them in most of mine ,high output vintage jazz are excellent as are there stingray humbuckers they are more like the original ernie ball ones in sound
  9. 2 options mate, either WD music, they have a web site they can do what ever you want or TMT music in orpington but they are more custom jobs I would go with WD myself and have bought loads of plates off them in the past.
  10. I just like the bridge sounds, i know what you mean tho, my other option is to put a humbucker at the bridge.
  11. I am toying with the idea of letting my Yamaha ltd II go, There is so much about it I love but at the same time there are niggles that put me off. If you want an out and out huge rock sound this is the one, but if the next song in your set is an old funky tune from the 70's it aint there with out a lot of adjusting and with such a complex Eq system, I just can't get away from a jazz or something with a music man style pickup at the back. The bass has a few knocks, chips ect but nothing that effects it's playability or stability Up for 4 or 5 string trades, i am south east london/kent. The Eq on these is as follows, knob closest to jacks p pickup volume the next is neck eq cut/boost then neck volume, at the moment i have wired the neck eq pot so it is a eq for the p pickup ,I can easy reverse this, it's only one wire. You can also run to 2 amps using one jack per pickup, I have a LMK 2 channel amp and have been using it this way aswell. 13. For sale here is a Yamaha RBXJM2 John Myung 6 string bass. A truly fantastic bass with custom made Seymore Duncan pick ups, and boasts a Seymore 9v 3 band eq, again customed for this bass and have only been used for this model to the exact spec of the man himself from dream theatre. Although made in Korea don't let this put you off, I've seen them live twice and both times this is the model he's played. It is in excellent condition and plays like a dream, there is slight pitting on the chrome dials but other than that it's all good. The pictures speak for themself. The only reason I'm letting it go is the fact that a recording project has fallen out of bed and I have no use for it anymore being that I so many other basses around me. It records brilliant and is simply plug in and go. At this money it's a very economical way to try your luck on a 6 string bass and I guarantee you will not ever use another 6 other than this one. I'm letting this baby go for £350 including gig bag. Any questions either call on 07956 964156 or email on [email protected]

  15.
I've never liked red basses and don't really like rosewood.... but that bass looks hot.
that headstaock don't look right for an early 80's, I thought they were identical to a fender around that time. not so pointed at the end, I could be wrong but the early 80's one I had was the exact same shape as a fender.
  16.
+1 for the TRB I had a TRB 6 II which was great and (I think) the first 6 string which was affordable. They still come up now and again for under £500, which gives a great excuse to buy 2 (or 3) basses instead of one. Only thing to warn about the TRB 6 II (don't know about the 'proper' TRB) is that it's 35" scale and wide string spacing. Happy shopping
I got a yamaha John Muang mk2 ,alsome bass seymore humbucker with 3 band eq all active if you interested.
  17.
Rattle and Drum in Derby. I'm kind of swaying towards Sterlings now. I really need to just sit down and play them, but I've found out the music shop I do a bit of teaching at can get in MMs, so I can get a new Ray 35 for a bargain. R&D don't have any of the 5 strings in that I'm looking at but they have all the 4 strings so I'm hoping I'll get a good enough idea of the neck and tone from that. Should be heading over tomorrow to have a go then I'll know what I want hopefully.
I have had them all stingray 5's , us jazz deluxe 5's, best value for money is a cort gb75 the best of both worlds and block inlays with edge binding ,seriously check them out, I may be selling my white ash one for £375 if you want any more information get in touch, but don't get a warwick, I had a corvette ltd edition cost about £1300 ,well disappointed.

  19.
I'm good thanks, you? I wonder where that bass is now?
A guy local to me bought it off me, I have been so tempted to knock on his door and try to buy it back, a nice ideal and a great recording tool but not practical for every day gigs and use, If you play a bad gig with that round your neck you would feel a proper nob.
  20.
I think I had that made for the Hellborg Wal I used to own! Did your Wal have Jonas's sig across the back?
Thats right I came down to the middle of no where, and bought the wal off you, thats some time ago now must be 14 years ago maybe longer. You lived in what looked like a castle, How are you???????

  23. Many years ago I had the pleasure of owning a WAL double neck bass, the same as the one Jonas Helborg used to play, I think it was called the eclipse, but not sure off hand. Any I have a very clean gig bag to suite one of these made by Capital Mamba, one pocket on the front. Any offers considered, or trades, don't ask don't get. Will post pics later.

  25.
I bought this to use as a back up for my Stingray 5 but the fact that I haven't had to use it at a gig yet and my current financial situation means it's going to have to go It's black with the alluminium chequer scratchplate, it has a few dings but looks nice, plays like a dream (in fact the sound is as good as the Stingray) 2 EQ active and currently strung with newish groundwounds I gave £375 for this including the Gator hard case and am looking to get as near to this as I can Thanks for looking
any trades????
