1. This thread needs more pictures. I have a gig on Friday i will see what we can do.
2. Depending on when. I could make an appearance.
3. I play my 5 string: A C G C F and my 6 strings: A C G C F A sharp. I love it. It suits our music and my technique.
4. Hi. I have used your shop a couple of times and have always been more than satisfied with the service. Good to hace you on here.
5.
The legendary Running Horse in Nottingham has stopped doing the open mike nights and many of the blokes are turning up at the Thursday night session at the Old Volunteer instead. G.
PMd
6. I love it. Congratulations Eude.
7. Good Lord. I love fortress basses so much i ant describe it. I would love to get a custom one done with the Masterman pickup in the neck position as well as at the bridge. I would love a four string as well, i keep my eyes open but being left handed makes life harder.
8.
Personal recommendation - I've traded with Deezbar several times and rate him as a top man. Buy with confidence.
+1
Thanks for the offer - it's a 4 i'm after (had a lovely MMSR5FL that I traded last year !) - cheers.
That bass was a beast.
9. Do you use ear plugs? this helped me. Also eqing well helped big time i play in a death metal band and found that boosting the mids and keeping everything flat helped me no end in hearing myself. If you don't cut through you will always struggle.
10. Out of those three my first choice (based on visuals) would be the MTD every time. Dont worry too much about it having only one pickup. My Warwick fortress only has one pickup in that same location and is very flexible.
11. A bunch of metal bassists do this for speed. I am trying to combine a 3 finger attack with fret clank to get a sound like Erland from blood red throne etc. I am now up to 16th notes at 190 bpm so still a way to go but i am getting there. If i could get up to 220 i think that would do. It has taken a lot of practice to get this far but i am sure it will pay off. I practiced just this for 4 and a half hours yesterday. So as VK says it takes a lot of practice.
12.
Do love a good jager. Staple diet of anyone who has been in a metal band
This is a fact.
13. Also cant wait to see the two W antd Ts together. That will be awesome.
14. Wow. That looks awesome Mark next time im back in Notts i am going to have to come and try it out.
15. Jagermeister is not a drink to be messed with it will mess you up . Apparently the logo on the fretboard lights up too.
16. I have a fretted and fretless jazz copy. Currently being refinished in matching white.
17. Dont know if this has been posted before but i have just seen this picture and thought it was cool.
18. my singer said every time he looked at me at our gig on Wednesday i was in a different spot and at a different angle. That say it all.
19. I really like the new Chimera album. I enjoy the slower more grinding tempo.
20. There are unnamed jazz basses that come up on ebay sometimes that are gret i bought one. The neck is more akin to a P bass is the only issue. I also bought a fretless Johnson jazz that was very nice and sub £100.
21. That. Is. Awesome. Congratulations. Do you get a financial return from that?
22. Yeah i know what you mean I have been learning guitar again as of late and i think it has given me a more melodic approach on bass.
