7.
Hi Rich, whereabouts are you? Does it have a case? What kind of bass amps are you looking for? Steve.
+1 i have an ampeg svp preamp+a 500 watt power amp in a rack that i would be up for moving on.
8. You can get metal knobs for a very reasonable sum from Warwick and they will fit. how many do you need? if your vette is the same as mine you will need 1 stacked and 2 none stacked. If you are just after chrome ones i think i have some lying about that i took off my vette. Im sure we can sort something out.
9. How much did the Cream pie go for? not that i'm selling mine just interested.
10. Man i want one of these im going to hotroxs this week to get one.
11.
Ive actually just put a justa nut 3 on my 5 string jazzman as the JAN2 broke, its a vast improvement in playability managed to get a nicer action out of it ,highly recommended BUMP!!!!!
Thanks dude This would make a good upgrade for any sixer.
12.
ah, i thought about doing that but didn't trust my technical ability! Take it its better now it doesn't have those plastic flappy things?
Yeah seems a lot better. The old one died. The screws threaded. I may be up for trading my 6 string corvette for something interesting any interest?
13. Being that im a clown i have bought the wrong nut so if you want to upgrade from a just a nut 2 give me a shout. I paid $33 which works out as £20 shipped so i will do the same deal as i need to order another one.
14. Balls. I just fitted a just-a-nut three to my six string corvette and I have had to put it on backwards to make it work on my bass. Seems to be ok tho. Edit there clearly is a lefty version on the warwick site that will teach me to buy something without paying attention.
15. Sorry not for me I tried them and couldn't get on with them. I can see how they would work great for some things tho.
16. Does tinfoil actually work for shielding? Ive never heard that.
17.
plus the one. if only they'd reissue the fortress. i'd be all over it.
Man i love my fortress. I dont really like the way it looks but the bass itself is getting pretty close to perfect. Id love a new Masterman with a few added tweaks. Do you have one?
18. you need to get a black badass and machine heads then its perfect.
19. Hi mate why not add a link to your band page. What kind of style is it and where abouts do u play?
20. One thing i have realised about working out bass lines is it is not magic the notes are there and its just a case of finding the right ones. Usually i start with the first note of a riff or bar and i play all the notes till i find what i think it is. Then for the next note i work through scales or chromatically to find the right interval and continue this way. Once ive got the riff i can then usually tell if its in the right key so i move it around and try different fingerings. It will take a while but i have found the more you do it the better you get and it really helps your playing. This may be a slow way but it works well for me especially trying different intervals till i find which it is. I hope this answer dosnt sound patronising its just the way i do it. Good luck mate and if i/we can help let us know.
21. Done it already it worked a treat and was quick. Only one problem i cant find the Allen key for my badass bridge . Anyone got a spare? vOr can someone tell me the ssize as i cant find it on the net. Edit allen key size is in the stickied post on badass bridges.
