  2. Ah behemoth check your eq. to get a sound like this the first step is to flaten your eq and boost your low mids.   4. Alembic: quality, adjustability bit OTT looking player knows what hes doing. Warwick: low mids, great in band settings Jazz bass: work horse, simple, suits purpose P bass: boring, boring looks, boring sound, boring bass lines Rickenbackers, Rock n roll, ugly, unpleasent tone Ibanez: does what its designed to do, good sound. ACG: nice, innovative Musicman: cool, aggressive, responsive
  5. I used to have one of these and it was great. Mine had a really upright kind of tone which didn't work for my band but great basses.
  6. Ive been using George L's on my pedal board for about a year and haven't had any of the problems described. I felt the tone was improved from what i was using before and the tone sounds a lot more like my bass with nothing in the signal. What kind of music do you play? Also how many pedals are you running?
  7. I tune to ACGCF and i just use a 135 on the A string i like the clank and don't see any reason to go heavier.

  14. I play my five strings a step down so thats an open A which i do hit occassionally my EBS cab has no problems delivering.
