well you never know a lottery win would buy a lot of shukers

For me like others have said Warwicks just work in the mix it just sounds right. It took me a while to get used to the neck but once you get there you forget about it.

I love the way the fingerboard is like the reverse colours of the top it looks pretty dam good. Things are pretty good in the PSN camp i guess.

guitar shops in london that are accessible
Dread Bass replied to Dread Bass's topic in General Discussion
Thanks for the responses Yeah i thought as much it does limit what we can do and where we can go and in this day and age its a real shame. Its difficult cause she wants to take me shopping and get me something i really like i.e. music stuff and im going to have to tell her that we cant go round the shops because she cant walk and that is hard it really really is. However we will make the most of it and we will do our best if i have to be trailed round Camden market again i am at least going to look in the windows of guitar shops. -
Hi My g/f and I are going to London to celebrate our 3 years together. She has offered to buy my anniv present in london. My g/f uses a wheelchair and was just wondering if there are many shops we can actually get in for example id like to go to the gallery for the porn and vintage and rare for the effects. any help would be appreciated thanks

Should be an interesting a/b test i think. You never no tayste you may get your hands on my blue barcode mule afterall.

Cool. makes sense

Thought this was a cool vid with some nice effects work ive never seen it posted anywhere tho.
-
ive just got an ultra fuzz and you can get some nice muffish tones with that but more defined with more bottom end. Kev you ever fancied trying to build one of those kits i quite like the idea of it.
-
What do you think of it mr pablo? I want one to see what all the fuss is about do you think it is as good as TB crew claim?
-
Thats interesting. You no way more than me about this kind of thing Joe but what i can say is the jacks feel solid, not cheap as do the switches and the general construction seems good. It is also silent i did not notice any noise at practice last night. My pedal board gets abused every gig as i tend to get carried away so i will let you know how it lasts but at this point i dont have any concerns. As you say a gigrig or lehle might be more tour worthy but there is a difference in cost So i guess i will just have to wait and see how it lasts.

i would really like one as i said but ive spent a fair whack on the board recently and i just couldnt justify it. new power thing £20 cables £40 ultra fuzz £65 looper £65 and im expecting a bogdon od at the end of the month. a new board will have to wait for now.
-
i still need to tidy up the wiring and i have changed the tuner and delay round from the picture.
-
Ok the board has gone through some major changes. First things first i finally got some decent cables and you guys were right the difference is totally mad. I only have enough to do one of my loops but im not too bothered about this as loop 2 has my non tb pedals in it so cheap cables will do for now. Red onion looper see my review in that section. Zoom ultra fuzz OMFG this thing is amazing i will do a review when i get around to it but this pedal is immense. here is the current layout: chain is Cream pie > Loop1 > ultra fuzz > Mule > loop return > loop 2 > aria flanger > delay > tuner > loop return > Opto stomp.

Ok I Just got this yesterday so after having a play i thought id tick up a review. Overview: The reason i got this pedal was a) I was aware some of my pedals were not TB and were tone sucking I have had problems with my effects 3 times when ive played live so i wanted a way to bypass my pedal if something went wrong. As it says in the title i ordered my pedal with two loops so i could separate my board into two sections. I asked for one of the loops to have a blend knob to use with fuzz to help with low end. I asked for a master bypass switch and i asked for a unpainted case. A painted case is £3 extra or something. Ease of use: Well its pretty easy to use, hardest part was trying to decide what to put in each loop. The pedal is clearly labeled. I had some problems positioning it on my board as both my patch cables are short (my own fault) and i am using a daisy chain (Johnny Shredfreak) to power everything and need to get some extensions for it (my own fault). The pedal is powered by a standard 9v boss connection. It does not come with a battery clip but red onion can add one if you ask. Sound Quality: Well it has made a huge difference after playing for a while i decided with this lay out just now bass>cream pie> RO Loop 1> Ultra fuzz > mule>loop return >loop 2 > aria flanger > cheap delay > boss tuner> Loop return > opto stomp. I chose this as i almost always have the cream pie and the compressor on so i left them out of the loops which means if anything goes wrong with them i will be a) in trouble kicking myself. I will leave loop 1 on most of the time as both the pedals are true bypass and i use them a lot. Loop2 will only be engaged when i need to use the effects as they are not TB. The only thing is with the blend at 50/50 there is avolume drop. Nothing severe but its there, however RO did tell me this when i ordered so i was aware of this. With the edition of my new george Ls cables and this i cant quite get over the difference everything sounds fuller. relability and contruction. I have no concern with this box its a solid piece of kit for sure its made with good components and the leds are nice and bright. three leds all together a blue one for each of the loops and a red one for the MB. I may paint it or add a decal or something it looks a bit plain but its fine for now. Customer support Brilliant, TJ at red onion is great. He replies to emails fast, he dosnt rush you into a decision and helps you figure out what you need. I will be using red onion again and will recommend it to my friends. and they had the pedal built and shipped out so fast. First class. Overall Great perfect cant complain about anything i paid £65 including shipping. For a custom box i think thats a bargain so if you are looking for a box for loops or switching check out red onion. any question please feel free to ask.

ok hardware is here. Pretty quick i thought. everything is present and accounted for +1 to warwick shop. Although i did end up with 2 stack knobs unstead of one. im in the middle of removing the old hardare and have had two small tech problems. 1. the knob for the pickup selector is stuck on with the force of hell so im not sure what to do yet to loosen that screw. 2. Oh dear my earth seems to have come loose it is not connected to anything in the control cavity can somone with a warwick 2 band eq help me out here of where its supposed to be. Thanks.
