my alembic has amazing setup ability cold have the action as low as i want. My rick tuner fretless action is crazy low.

i have a behringer 4x10 and amp as a backup no problems with mine at all. both me and my friend prefer it to his trace amp and warwick cab setup.

same thing happened with my switches so i opened it up and put a tiny peice of card inbetween the internal switches and that fixed it. I dont think there is a better value multi fx just now the zoom is very good for £100

i think its a mix of factors really. A good bass player can get a good sound out of a cheap bass but a less capable bass player will struggle to get a good sound out of even the best bass. That said i think you are only as good as your weakest part of your signal i.e. great player + great bass + great amp = great sound if any of these factors are weak then the sound will be weaker.
