  1. exellent im quite excited about this. Not that i can afford one like, but still.
  2. Are you left or right handed? i thouught you were a lefty is this bass a lefty aaagghhh confused
  3. I would always put comp last. if you put comp first you are sending a compressed signal into your effects which will effect them i.e an envelope filter reacts to the peaks and troughs in your playing so by putting a compressor before you are loosing some control over the effect. . Its all about trying it to see the way it works best for you i think. if it was me i would go bass>dod>marshall>exciter>comp>amp
  4. haha i figured as much. The new juice knob looks interesting, i can see that being useful. Sometimes to get My huck to cut through the way i want i have to sacrifice the thickness of the tone a touch. Wonder if this will be the remedy?
  5. Just saw it listed on the tonefactor web page anyone no anything about this? Tayste?
  6. hello and welcome those g and l basses are great
  7. Em yeah like others have said simply Boss or of a higher build quality but i dont think by that much really mind u its nearly impossible to kill a boss pedal. Some of the behringer stuff soundwise is great some not so same applies to boss.
  8. I like it when he plays her leg like a bass pure class

  16. get guitar pro thats what i use its a tab programme that plays song for you its cool and helpful.
  17. Firstly, the sound(s) I am after ( there are two main types of sound ) are 1. a piano like tone, sounds nice and bassy in the mix, but on it's own has a lot of top end to help it cut through. A L E M B I C That is exactly what my alembic bass has. Not a cheap option tho
  18. I cant wait for the chunk systems synth i feel it may be the end of the deep impact
  19. just ordered some er20s i have been using the foam pink and yellow ones but i dont find them comfortable so hopefully these will be better.
  20. whatever it takes for me. bass playing is my true passion so i will spend what it takes. Its not like i want a boat or a fancy car or anything
  21. Cream Pies are all out of stock now, but all the clips I've heard of them on bass sounded really farty to me anyway. [/quote] How dare you Cream pie is the best thing ever. The Barber LTD is highly regarded for this as is the digitech bad monkey. If i had bought my cream pie when i had my mark bass amp i doubt i would have changed to ampeg
  22. Its good for the money and has a great octaver on it the envelope filter is good enough but its no mutron.
