3. aaawww could have gone to leeds this past few days too
4. mmm that's sexy! Had an Iceni before and they are wonderfully put together!
5. I'm in agony reading all this closest i've got are some bad blisters that I carried on playing with and went really nasty
6.
If you like the Ibanez SR505, you may also like the Cort Artisan B5. It's very similar specwise, but besides mahogany it's also available with an ash body. It has the same Bartolini MK1 electronics as the Ibanez, and it's built on the exact same production facility of Cort in Korea. Very well-made, great feel and a very punchy and versatile tone. It's also more affordable than the Ibanez.
+1, heard great things about Corts, they're really underappreciated
7. that is one hell of a lot of wood!
8. I guess that they would but I'm not sure where you'd find a Warwick neck from, they don't sell them separately as far as I know...
9. what technique? Spinning your hair? Which part of the video do you mean?
10.
but hasn't he used up all of its notes?
certainly sounds like it!
11. whatever it is I've got my eye on currently (won't mention one specifically as it'll probably have changed by the time you read this post )
12.
Josh, is this the red one you had from me ? There was something about that bass which I never quite found on a couple of other Jazzmans.
It is indeed Alan, I've been thinking about it quite a bit now my playing and ear for tone has improved and would really love to at least have another go on it. Sellers remorse eh? Also, it didn't matter how battered it was but the upperhorn always looked simply gorgeous.
13.
Hello, I just spotted this thread – and as someone who is a partial lefty (I do most things left handed, but was made to write right handed and didn’t know left handed instruments existed), I’ve just had a thought: Here at Overwater we have long felt the industry standard 10% up charge for left handed instruments is just adding insult to the injury of little or no choice – so we have always charged exactly the same for left and right handed basses. Here’s my suggestion to even things out – if there any lefties out there in bass chat land who would be interested in having an Overwater built – we will make it for 10% less! Chris
Oh wow, what an offer! This is why I love basschat
14. Hi David and welcome! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here, I do hope you manage to stay GAS free though, its a horrible affliction

16. got any compacts going? Considering an investment...
17. urgh. Really not a fan of that, very little distinctive about the sound and the shape is too distinctive
18. like the hole in the headstock, haven't seen that before and its pretty snazzy
19. bit confusing all that *edit* and what's under the bridge? Are those extra tuning pegs?
20. what on earth are all those switches for on the back left and back right ones? Looks epic
21. fair enough! Was thinking about seeking out the jazzman again, do you have any idea as to whether the current owner is in love with it?
