2.
Hi folks, I´m Thilo from Germany and I want to sell my Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass, because I don´t use it and I need money. I´ve upgraded it to get a classic, more characteristic bass tone: - Electronics: Audere JZ3D Deluxe Bass Preamp, Bass/Mids/Treble/Tone/Z-Mode Switch If you don´t know it, read more about it here: http://www.audereaudio.com/JZ3D.htm - Pickups: Lindy Fralin Jazz Bass Pickups If you don´t know them read reviews on harmony-central.com, really one of the best Jazz bass Pickups around. http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...ss+Pickups/10/1 The bass is in great condition. 10 out of 10. Really, no dings or dongs. I can send you some more pictures, if you want. I´m more a P-Bass Player, so it wasn´t often in use. I bought it about nine month ago, never on a gig, just at home. Fender Case, Lether strap, straplocks and all the stuff that was with it, when I bought it is included. I bought it for 1450 Euro, Fralin Pickups costs 200 Euro, Audere Preamp came from USA and with taxes it cost me also about 200 Euro. That´s all about 1580 pounds. It´s in great condition, like new, so I won´t like to let it go for less than 1150 pounds. Mail me if you are interested or want more pictures. cheers, Thilo
Hi Thilo, seem to remember I sold you a bass a while back... wasn't my jazzman was it?
3. ah, i thought about doing that but didn't trust my technical ability! Take it its better now it doesn't have those plastic flappy things?
4.
If you don't like grolsch or want straplocks that aren't big & red, shower hose washers do the job just as well and you can get enough for 10 basses for a quid.
but you get cool poptop beer...
5. after discussion with a mod, we've decided that we'll let this thread develop as a lefty thread and then we can see if it warrants stickying/further action later on. To me, it sounds like a good solution as I'm having second thoughts about a forum evoted entirely to lefties Thanks guys!
6. great cabs these, have the 2x10 version Snap this up!
7. Twas only musings, I didn't want to cause a fuss! I'm sure I'd visit the right handed section sometime
8.
good question... well i think the mod should be the person who started this thread. it is only right, right?
haha, not going to lie, I would love that but I'll leave those sort of decisions to those above me
9.
Mybad well, i can see if i can get some people from that website over here if that helps
by all means! Would be great for basschat to expand!
10. I mentioned it in the last line of my original post
11.
hmm, I think the general internet consensus is 69 russian muffs, a roland synth, an akai deep impact and a clean trak mixed in. OR 79 amps: 3 overclocking in a fridge to stop them exploding 30 tube amps mod'd to produce more gain than is possible 34 russian muffs running into a seperate amp each 2 clean amps 9 roland synthesizers running in parallel 1 akai deep impact going into an unknown amp Or something like that....
to be fair that's pretty damn close
12. after discussion with another honourable member of our lefty order, the movement begins : http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=51304&hl=
13. Was just discussing this with another from the lefty crew and we were discussing seeing if we could get a lefthanded section of basschat going? I know that us lefties have been granted a sticky in the for sale thread (for which we are thankful of course) but we thought that that was just the tip of the lefty iceberg. If we were to get a subforum going (e.g. in "The Local" section) then not only would it make it easier for lefties to help each other (gear hunts, experiences with retailers, etc) but it might also help bring in musicians who are left handed who currently don't really have a forum on the internet (leftybassist.com is the closest it comes and its pretty poor from what I've seen). Thoughts and comments welcomed
14.
I'm assuming that everyone that buys a Stanley Clarke sig, doesn't have any money left to buy a sodding camera.
haha, indeed!
15. doesn't look too bad, not sure I like it in that colour though. Not entirely sure why though
16. Warwick corvette is the one
17. I'd quite like to try a 6 again y'know.... Wouldn't use the 6th string but they look great
18. nah fair enough mate, think they got wise to its value and changed it
19. enjoy finding a bargain! Infact, I'll cheekily refer you to 3 beginner basses I have going http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=49266&hl=
