8.
Crikey, WoT letting a vintage Precision go? Suddenly the World seems different; things I'd taken for granted no longer hold true, a new order etc etc. This is kinda like Dylan going electric
or Warwickhunt selling all his Warwicks
 9. hah, usually steer clear of pointy guitars/basses but that looks awesome! What's with the Warwick bridge?

 12. And I was going through Victoria tube station (If I remember correctly) and there was a guy tapping on a 6 string Ibanez who was sounding pretty good. It was a shame I was in a rush to catch another train or I would have stayed for a bit longer to listen! Was just wondering if anyone had seen him too? Or if he frequents the forum
 13. still not interested in my cab? 700W...
 14.
I guess my point is that the reason I originally picked up bass was because at school, I was asked to join a band, and both my other two friends had drums and a guitar coming their way that particular Christmas, so they asked me if I would buy a bass and join them. The irony is that I was the only one to stick at my chosen instrument and get good at it ultimately.
this is how I started almost exactly!
 15.
They did, it's called a Precision.
OOOOH BUUURRRRNNNNN I agree with what's being said for the most part- could make this yourself with minimal effort for much less than he's wanting!
 16.
Mmmm - would tend to agree. I think you need to be seeing a much greater saving for it to be truly worthwhile. If they ship in a hardcase (pretty much essential) then you'd be talking around £100 for shipping, then you have import duty which would be circa 20% of total value. So... back of envelope calculation: Bass = $275, which when paid for by credit card with crappy fx rate = £200. Shipping = £100 Customs = 20% of insurance value, which should include shipping cost, = £60 Total = £360 give or take for a factory blemished Schecter. UK New Price = £400, with room to haggle. I think there's better deals to be had on ebay.com
E.G. £200 atm, 1 day left. He's been trying to sell this for ages
