1. oh my that's hot Pricey, but hot.
2. not all bass related! Some computer stuff, various meals for the wench, Xbox games mostly. All adds up to an expensive month! One interesting bass related purchase which I'm keeping under wraps for a bit <shifty eyes>
3. thanks for the comparison! You get a lot of reviews comparing sound but nothing is better than a recording. Thanks WoT!
4. haha, I wish! Made a few hasty purchases that leave me with a cash deficit... purchases were well worth it though!
5. its in euros, imagine that might be going euro price from it but with the exchange rate makes it seem dear in £. Could be wrong of course!
6. considering selling the $$ due to some financial problems, offers considered
7. I know what you mean with that, I prefer the look of 5 strings but find 4 easier to play. Then again I'm odd.
8. a bongo is certainly on my wish list!
9. haha, like the 4 lipstick pups though!
10. here we go
11. its shortened the link for some reason...
12. from my experience it doesn't do it particularly well but then again you can just tune from the 12th fret or the harmonic. For this sort of price you can't expect stonking performance! I can also say that it is a superb rack light!
13. maybe a tad, though it'd take a while to run them in again. You might just need to cut your treble if its the clank you're worried about
14. good point, you'll want those dead as dead!
15. tweak those eq settings! Cut your mids and see what it does to the sound- just have a fiddle really
16.
His i.d. is chylamariusz88 just so you know.
Hah, thought that said chlamydia88 for a minute
17. ah that's a shame, if you were closer you could have come and have a go! The problem is (as you may have guessed) that few shops (at least near me) stock rays, let alone left handed ones! I just had to bite the bullet and buy it. I wasn't disappointed, and I hope you won't be if you do the same I'd still try to find a shop with at least a righty MM and have a go upside down!
18. mmmm. Compact plus a shuttle= epic tiny rig? certainly something I'm looking to try!
19. Bongos are always nice too! I had a stirling and a stingray and I always prefered the ray, I found the neck too narrow on the Stirling but thats personal choice A lefty would go for a ray for the same reason a righty would, great slap tone and punchy finger/pick style. Where are you based incidentally?
20.
whereas at the other end of the scale, these cheaper rays seems have popped up, looks lovely too - £689... 21. I concur, a compact is on the shopping list if I could get a good deal on my tech
