The wah would probs be easier than the frequency of the bass.... Incidentally I know that its usually done with a keyboard or synthy thing, bt I dont have one of those

I'd just tighten until you feel you've put enough force in it by hand, wouldn't have thought you could overtighten it unless you use a hammer to turn the screw driver no harm in giving it another little tighten once the neck is on!

when my $$ came through it worked for 20seconds then died. I thought it was broken! After multiple worryings and giving the electrics a look I changed the battery just in case and lo and behold, the simplest fix ever
