1. I thought so! its in remarkably good condition, only one or two surface dings, has the original string mutes too (although they are perished to hell). I've said it before and I'll say it again, the neck is gorgeous!
2. Hi Arni! Fancy meeting you here, glad to see you've joined us You can take my Zoot off your website now incidentally traded it yesterday thanks to your help! Also, we've recently set up a lefthanded thread a bit further up this page- you might have more luck in there!
3.
Hi All, A bump for my Chase back-up bass (spec link back on page 4). Excellent condition. £70.00 including as new gigbag and postage. Josh... love the Stingray.
Updated and thanks My teal stingray is now for sale everyone!
4. 1979 MM Stingray, love it to bits, the neck its so much better than current stingrays! Incredibly fast. 5. wow, they took their time! Incidentally i have now traded the Zoot and can now reveal what I've traded it for- I'll put up a teaser pic first though cos I'm a git: Yes, yes a stingray, but who can spot some odd things about that headstock?
6.
Why is it a three-colour sunburst on the back, but only two on the front?

It's a sunburst finish, but quite faded at the front, so very little red. It might be due to the type of finish of this period, possibly. The back, as you can see in the pictures, is still reasonably bright and colourful. I wonder if it's been hung up in sunlight or something. Still, it's a nice tobacco sunburst effect now.
In original post man!
7. wow, can't believe tis actually gone, thats been hanging around for months now!
8. I think I prefer that actually! Nice bass overall
9.
Yeah, I know what you mean... i'd lose the pickguard if I could, but I rather suspect that there'd be unwanted visible wiring trenches underneath.
MM would never do such an uncouth thing as wiring trenches on an SR4!
10. would do but its difficult for me to find a good location to take them to be honest (don't anyone dare say outside )
11. Thanks a lot for the bump, great to hear that someone else thinks this is a good offer!
http://www.dv247.com/invt/61429/ Quite a hefty price tag here. £2200 Jake
I find it amusing that in the suggested other 6 string basses on that website are this and this Also, that it the AAF bass isnt actually a fender? I hope...
15. oh big plus one on the separate control plate...
16. +1 on the ACG, i hear it does wonders
17. will be interested to see the conversion rate of "I'll definitely stake £10" to how many people actually pay up, happens only too often for my liking (people dropping out when they remember they have to pay). Also how would you organise payment? Paypal seems the only way to do this feasibly and you've got loads of fees with that. Don't get me wrong i sincerely hope this works, but I'm doubtful that it'll go to plan personally...
18. mmmmmmmmmmmm oh wow. Thats gorgeous!
19. why is it that every forum i go on, someone eventually asks to look at someone else's pe- oh sorry, read that wrong. Ahem.
