What are you interested in for a trade?
I will listen to any trade & do a cash adjustment either way as long as it has no more than 4 strings, I'd prefer a maple neck but I am open to all offers so fire away ! I can only say no if its not my bag
Of what I need to shift I've got a Yamaha RBX270 with pickup mod (SD BassLines 1/4 pounder Jazz) 4-string, 24 frets, natural finish...and a Traben Array 5-string LTD edition I bought for £420 and never played more than 4 hours. I don't know what you play though so I can't think of a good match. Worth a shot.
Hi mate & thanks for the offers. I’m not really keen on the Yamaha & I can just about knock a tune up on 4 strings so the 5 string is out unless it comes with a magic wand & some ear plugs for me wife! Cheers Anth.

Vintage modified jazz bass for sale or possible trade. Not in a great rush to sell this but thought I’d test the market!!! Only reason I am selling is that I prefer my geddy lee custom build. It has only ever been played at home & transported to my mates (cd_david to fit the bridge & set the bass up) in a hardcase. I bought this new from soundslive newcastle18 months ago, upgrades to the bass are: Headstock has a fender decal & it has also been lacquered & been professionally put on by Dave Wilson. It is also has fitted with a Badass II bridge (Done by cd_david), retro style knobs & a white fender 3 ply scratchplate. I spent over £100 on the upgrades so I’d like £230 for the bass. I do have the original bridge & chrome knobs for the volume & tone but I don’t have the original scratchplate as that is on my custom built jazz bass. No case with this as my geddy is tucked up in it ! Bass is in whitely bay, Seaton Delaval, Tyne & wear & it is pick up only & cash on collection. Any questions fire away! I maybe open to trades so fire away!!! Cheers, Anth. Some pics are with flash & some without.
Wish I could mate, but I'm skint. It has the same birthday as my dad 15th March, and I definately had a connection with it, and it was a mistake letting it go, but hey ho, there you go, you live and learn. Great bass for someone this one, if it's a Stingray you fancy, this is the one IMO.
Cheers for the message Russ, My wife's B-day is on the 15th March as well so I did think It was meant to be. I'd love to keep it as it really is a great player & looker but since my jazz build I can't see me playing it... I'll keep my fingers crossed for a lottery win for you so you can have it back Anth

If not let me know. Cheers

Bought this of Rayman on here in early July 2008 See original thread for info http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...6&hl=rayman Since I have had it, it has been out of its case maybe 15 times in the house & I have never gigged with it. I always went back to my jazz bass & since finishing a new jazz build project I can’t see me using the musicman. It comes with a musicman hardcase & it is in great condition. Rayman took care of it & I have done the same. I’m looking to get my money back on this so its £650 & No Offers. It is pick-up only from Whitley Bay, Tyne & Wear unless I’ve still got it in January then I may consider posting.
Wow! You need to play some Larry Graham lines on that baby now. It's just crying out for some 70's funk!
It sure does mate! I have been slapping it alot & it all sounds a sweet as a nut! The Audere preamp it gives the bass a lot more range of tones & flicking between the 2 pickups theres plenty the choose from. Cheers Anth
i was thinking the same when i first saw the pic. but now the white's growing on me. i think it makes it look a little different, most white jazzes will have black or tort pickguards.
Aye, Cheers mate... I have thought about getting a tort on but the white plate with the black screws looks nice & tidy to me. I'll get some better pics up maybe at the end of the week as my camera is about as good as a Encore 12 string!
that's lovely. i'd go for a black scratchplate myself
I did think about a black or a tort but I think the white sets the whole thing off... Looks a bit like Larry Graham's...

Si
Cheers Si, If a marcus miller neck came up at the right price then who knows, That would have been my 1st choice but I jumped at the geddy neck & I'm really pleased with it. Any pics of your Precision? Anth
