  1. I think I've changed my mind and am going to keep it, after all how many is the right number of basses, 1 more that's how many. Thanks for the comments guys it is a cracking bass and way better and more individual than anything else for that sort of money.

  2. Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 Class D Head for sale. £275 I bought this as GAS got the better of me and I fancied trying something different to my Orange Terror, however having tried them next to each other at a rehearsal last week I prefer the sound of the Orange and I can't keep both. This is a cracking little amp though, very small and light and tonally loads of options, and was very powerful. The previous owner had put a new preamp valve in and there are a few scuffs and scratches on the top but everything works as it should. Collection from Bristol or I am happy to post for cost (about £10). No Trades thanks. Any questions, please let me know. LOL...

I had to look up JANI/II/III. I see now....I own a Warwick Streamer Stage II that I bought in 1989. It has the adjustable brass nut of course, but it wasn't called that back then. Glad I know now...just in case I ever want to sell it!!

  5. Precision bass copy from Memphis dating from late 1970s early 1980s which i bought from shonks of this parish a few months ago.

I bought this as a project back up bass and now have too many so this needs a new home. I have added some upgrades which are:
    - Seymour Duncan SPB1 pickup
    - kiOgon solderless wiring loom with 500k tone pot
    - Elites strings 45-105 guage
    - Neck needed a shim to get action to a good place

Bass also had following when i got it:
    - Brass nut
    - Solid bridge
    - Through body stringing
    - Decent tuners (i don't think they're original but don't know what make)
    - Solid wood body (not sure what wood but not ply)
    - Maple neck in good condition
    - Nut width is 40mm
    - Weighs about 9.5lbs
    - All original electrics will be included

    Points to note
    - Body has had a life. It has numerous dings and scars but nothing structural and I think it adds to the charecter - plenty of mojo
    - Truss rod works but is a bit stiff

Its difficult to find much info on these as they were only ever sold in USA and Memphis is an importers brand for basses built in Japan or probaly Korea in late 70s or early 80s. Similar to Satelite guitars in this country.

Happy to post at buyers cost and risk but would prefer cash on collection from Bristol or I could possibly deliver in the Bristol/Bath area.

Id much prefer a cash sale but try me with sensible offers and trades, possibly for a Jazz or anything old and interesting, no Ps, I can only say no. Also I'd prefer any trades to be face to face, not by post.

You are welcome to try it and I'll even include a nice cup of tea. Let me know if you need any more info
    Cheers

  6. Entwistle PBXN neo Precision pickup. Bought for a project but wasn't quite right. Vey high output pickup great for a punky JJ Burnel type tone. It was attached to a kiogon loom so none of the wire has been cut. Slight scuff on one of the cover but otherwise as new and only used a handful of times. Happy to post for £3 bank transfer preferred. Any questions please let me know. Cheers.
