Total Watts

  1. Just got one, a mij one & it’s one of the greatest basses I’ve ever owned. So creative, the bass ideas are flying out of it. You end up doing stuff on them that you wouldn’t necessarily do on a full size bass. Why I never had one years ago I don’t know. Total convert !
  2. Bought a Mustang bass off Dave. From messaging that I wanted to buy it, 3hours later I had the bass. Buy with confidence, great human being to deal with. Thank you
  3. I remember watching him talking on a video about playing bass & following the singer to get your timing & pocket, not the drum's. So clever to make that observation & you can hear him doing it. Amazing musician. Very sad news his passing. RIP.
  4. I’ve had mine for over a year now & it’s honestly been great. Completely reliable & no problems whatsoever. It’s one of them amps that has massive amounts of real weight behind its sound too. A true power house !!
  5. It’s brilliant, loads of headroom, depth & power.
  6. How good is Andrew Gouche
  7. Vampires is such a great track to play live. We haven’t done that for years.
  8. I’ve used RME products with Ardour (Linux) & it works amazing well
  9. Some great solid bass playing going in our new album. The Blues of Tombstone Dunnery Volume 1. https://francisdunnery.com/product/the-blues-of-tombstone-dunnery-cd-pre-sale/

    AER amp one

Ive had one for about 8 years. Its probably the best amp for bass that's ever been made. A ridiculously good little amp !!!!! You'll love it. Its also a killer channel strip/pre-amp for recording. Its amazing !
  11. Thank you guys I guess it'll just be down to the try, i know height wise the difference is about 40cM Maybe that will be significant?
  12. Feel daft asking, but before I go chasing round shops trying to find stock to try. What are the honest audible differences between the ABM 410H EVO IV & using 2 x ABM 210H EVO IV. I see a few people with the 2 cab option on these pages. Just wondered as I’m sure they must have tried the 4x10 before opting for the 2 cabs instead. I get the weight thing & being able to use less gear depending on gig size. But how about sound ? The 4x10 seems to reach a bit lower?
  13. Do all Ashdown amps start off being made in the uk? I really like supporting uk business when i can, even when it’s a little bit more expensive. I don’t think it’s badly priced considering it’s made in the uk. Does anyone know when they’ll hit the shops?
