1. Jeff has proved to be a sterling chap! After our trade in which I received his AXL fretless P bass - he informed me he had an unwanted tort guard and insisting on sending it to me as a gift! Touched
2. Love mine to bits!!!! Someone jump on it: you'll be glad you did!
3. I've got a boss EQ I'd happily trade: I'll pm you

5.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you get wed is it not her family pay for everything? Surely it should be her Dad who sells HIS Stingray?
hear hear!
6.
I like cats, lifting weights and Robert de Niro.
Ha! Brilliant, Welcome dude

8. Cool man! Like the lyrics of sinner saint a lot dude, especiaally the bit 'every lie has made up who I am' (roughly speaking) I think 'Sinner Saint' would be better than 'Sinner / Saint' as a name though! just IMO
9. Hi chaps and any chappettes, My thumb BO 4, in very good condition. Made 2006. All ovankol with wenge board. Slight thumb groove above neck pup, (which I actually like!) and the knobs have a little wear. It came to me with a few areas of light wear but I carefuly sanded the bass and rewaxed, then I got the guys at the gallery to replace the potentometers with new ones from Warwick and the bass is now in lurvly nik. SORRY NOW WITHDRAWN :-/ sounds too good!
10. Hey man, Into pronounced mids so thats cool! but what's the low end like on this? cheers
11. Couldn't find a thread for Matt so started one. I bought a couple of mullard valves from this Gent. He was very patient and helpful for a good week or so while I quizzed him on all things valve before I confirmed any buy and then he went and through in an extra valve (albeit a little poorly one) for free!! Diamond geezer! Deal with confidence.
12. Traded a hard case for Jeff's fretless axl P Very smooth dealings - all good!
13. Had he pleasure of meeting john when trading my ACG Harlot for his Mayones Elegance. Fantastic fella. Couldn't recommend dealings with him enough. Plus you'll get to meet a top bloke of you're local!
14. awesome hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine
15.
Reckon I could do with a P PM'd
You wont regret it man - I just had Jon at the bass gallery level the frets on my '94 of this and I don't think anyone could put a P in my hands that can trump it!
16. I know the dreaded 'squier' tag on the headstock can be a hard thing to live with considering most musicians that know the brand will assume it's a china knock out from this era, but i have a Japanese '92 Silver Series one and i can say hand on heart that it knocks the socks off of 95% of jazz basses I've played and that includes sandbergs, us fenders, etc. As with most models I'm sure there are good ones and not so good ones, but at the price you can find them at its not a big deal to try one out if you can't play before buying.
17.
Some lovely playing there. And some great phrasing. That Streamer also sounds great. Overall, fantastic!
Hear hear!
18. Bought a decimator and powerstation from scott. Great comms, quick well packaged delivery, and an unexpected surprise of a few neutrik style patch cables thrown in!!' Awesome

22. hmmm cool.... Will do some more testing when I get a chance and report back (DUDE! I just noticed your R2D2 mug avatar! Already googled it and will probably order the bleepin little bad boy! Gas for robotic china ha!)
23.
so I used the 9v feed from a Boss TU3 and that sorted it; must be them magic buffers...
So you powered the digital pedal or the VT1 from the TU3?
