  1. Bugger, I'd love one of these if it were economically viable to collect it. Have a bump on me though young sir, these are great cases and perfect for the usual weekend gigger.
  2. Just have to say that this is bargain-tastic at that price, I've played one myself a couple of times and they're great basses. I'm very nearly tempted myself......
  3. Had a few intreresting things but nothing concrete yet, so still keeping my eyes open....
  4. Someone should really buy these and the 5-string fretless jazz in the basses-for-sale section before I have to sell my body to passing truck drivers to pay for it myself. Have a bumpage for some great PuPs mate...
  5. Bargain-tastic mate, I'm in London but unfortunately don't have the cash... Good luck with the sale though, wish it could be mine!
  6. I'm not sure how many non-bassists look on here but it's got to be worth a shot I guess.... After a short-lived career for Warwick at Germany I'm now back in the UK and looking to join a gigging band that will help pay the bills. I've been playing 16 years, (I'm 33 now, feel younger but look older!), recorded and gigged all over the UK, toured nationally and recorded a bunch of things including a Radio 1 session and much more. I've mainly done original HipHop/Metal/Alternative/Drum n' Bass type stuff, but I've also done the country-blues-rock thing, covers and function stuff, and pretty much every song ever played on Planet Rock. I'm looking to join a gigging band, the busier the better, which will help cover the bills while I'm job hunting (which is just as easy as you can imagine in the UK at the moment...) I'm based in London (both North and South) but will happily travel to wherever the need arises (Cambs/Essex/Beds/Herts/E.Anglia etc) I'm guessing that a busy function/covers band is probably the best bet, but I'll give anything fair consideration. Got my own transport and good gear (4 and 5 string basses, fretless, acoustic, Yamaha rig, GK rig, Kustom rig, FX talent boosters) and am reliable and can learn sets real quick. Cheers Y'all, Jase.
  7. I used one of these as my main gigging rig for nearly 3 years and I reckon they sound great, if mine went belly up I'd buy another without hesitation. Yeah they can hum a bit and some of the distortion channels are waaay too noisy, but overall they're great for the money. Have a bumpage on me amigo...
  8. Howdy mate, I'd love the Batman, Baraka and 5th Elemant dvd's off you, just let me know how you'd like some cash for the P+P. Cheers young sir!
  9. Maaaaan I want one of these, its soooo soooo tempting...... Have a bump for a lovely bass.
  10. So to ask the big question, what is the string spacing?
  11. If I hadn't just moved to bloody Germany for 6 months then I'd have this off you like a shot, bloody typical Great bass and amazing price, if someone banged a top-banana PuP in it then it would be a fantastic gigging bass. Have a bumpage on me amigo!
  12. London is smelly and sh*tty and the venues are worse than the toilet scene in Trainspotting, but yeah everybody seems to be in a band there. Disillusionment of great times past? Whereas York is absolutely beautiful, much nicer.
  13. I'd be interested but getting them would be a bit too pricey for me really, best of luck though mate!
  14. Oh bugger..... I'm sooooo tempted to this, I've got the readies but I've just moved to Germany for 6 months! So, so bloody typical.
  15. I'll take the reflex pickups please, PM'd!
  16. Got the amp and DVD and they're both great cheers Chris, top banana!
  17. Best of luck with the sale mate, and this really is the monkeys' chuff of tuners, and he's a great guy to deal with too.

  19. Bassist urgently required to fill my welly's for the Andy Robinson Band, playing anything between 4 and 8 gigs per month and usually paying around £50-£70 per gig. Playing classic rock and blues tracks like Hendrix, Bad Company, Stones, Led Zep and loads more, and most gigs are Friday/Saturday nights, but there are a few here and there midweek. Mainly playing in Norfolk and Suffolk, with the occasional gig in Essex but not usually much further. Both Andy and the drummer Ian are great easy going guys and the gigs are generally well received, playing mainly pubs and clubs. Please call Andy on 07801 235153, cheers y'all!
  20. Really tempted to this but I already have the CD-BT1.... Can I justify buying this to myself....?... Just in case my one craps out on me.....mmm.... Have a bump on me good sir!
