Laney RGB500 Combo For sale, £150. SOLD SOLD SOLD!!
BassJase replied to BassJase's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale

Due to our local music shop closing down and me having GAS for a rather nice Peavey 2x10 combo they have, i'm after a quick sale on my Laney RGB500 combo amp. Its in overall decent condition, a few scratch marks/scuffs here and there from general gigging, but nothing by any means severe or affecting the performance whatsoever. I'm pretty sure its 300w, and has a 6-band EQ along with extra bass and treble controls, gain, switchable compression (on/off, high/low) switchable on/off horns, and extra low/high boost buttons (for an extra quick treble/bass boost.) It has a D.I on the front, castors and side grab handles, FX loop, active/passive inputs, and is generally a great gigging amp. Eveything works fine on it, no bad or scratchy pots, and apart from the few scuff marks is in good, clean condition. I'm after £150 for it, preferably to be collected from myself in Thetford, Norfolk (30 miles south of Norwich, just over an hours drive from Essex/London/Peterborough) but i will be driving to Bristol (via the M25 and Reading) on monday and staying till saturday, so if needs be something could be arranged around any of those. Please PM me if interested or reply here with any further questions. Cheers y'all!
jase, you interested in my japanese concert V? Dunno if you knew I was trying to shift it cause you weren't around. Search it in the basses section, £300.
Hiya mate, A couple of years ago i would've bitten your arm off for one of those, but i have the 4-string version (which i'm extremely pleased with) and unfortunately insufficient funds are stopping me buying anything for a while! Cheers anyway though matey, much appreciated.

Right, up for sale (again) is my Warwick Katana 5-String. I tried to sell it earlier in the year, then had a change of heart and realised that i do actually really like it, but now neccesity forces sale. I know this is probably the worst time of year to be selling anything, but i thought its worth a shot on here before the dreaded eBay. Its pretty much "as new" condition, only gigged once and taken to rehearsals a handful of times. It cost £1200 originally, and a few months ago i replaced the original chrome hardware with black. Swamp ash body in Honey Violin finish, with 24-fret Evangkol and Wenge neck. Active electronics (which has a push/pull controller which can also be used to run passive, in case of battery failure or if you prefer those "vintage" tones) Comes with full original warranty and Warwick waterproof gig bag (which has a zip-off rucksack on it! Yay!) I'm after £550 for it, and Shipping will be around £15-£20, or collection/viewing from myself in Norfolk. Any questions please ask, Cheers y'all.

Due to a costly car M.O.T i'm selling my Bass Pod XT Live floor unit thingy. In all honesty its been hardly used, never gigged or even rehearsed, purely home use only, so its in superb condition. Comes with all the original stuff (power supply, destruction manual, variax connector etc) Heres the specs from Line 6; The power of Bass POD XT is now at your feet! Included are over 50 stompbox, synth, and studio effects, 28 bass amp models, plus 22 cab and 4 mic models. With its rugged steel construction, Bass PODXT Live is ready to take years of real world gig abuse. Whether you use it as the ultimate multi-effect pedal, a direct recording miracle, a powerhouse preamp, a practice partner, or a creative digital signal processing tool, we think you'll agree that Bass PODXT Live is about the most amazing thing to happen to the electric bass since, well, since the bass amplifier itself! Bass PODXT Live delivers the incredible tones of the acclaimed Line 6 Point-to-Point Interactive modeling technology (as featured in our other POD XT products and Vetta II series guitar amps), fuses it with the wonderfully portable and easy to use POD which has been the bass recording world standard for years, and smacks it all down on the floor for rugged professional use. So you've got the tonal heritage of the past century of stompbox and bass amplifier design, plus no-compromise recording and direct sound excellence - all ready to roll when you are. Stompbox & Studio Effects: What bassist doesn't like effects? Bass PODXT Live's got a bunch of great Stomp, Mod and Delay/Verb effects sounds adapted from Line 6's DM4 Distortion Modeler, MM4 Modulation Modeler, and DL4 Delay Modeler pedals. And, there are some brand spankin' new models that come straight from our flagship combo, Vetta II. But what fun are a bunch of effects if you can't wire them up in bizarre and unusual ways? Fortunately, with Bass POD XT Live, you can. Its flexible routing lets you mix and match up to 6 marvelous effects simultaneously. When using an amp model, you can even choose to put some PRE, and some POST. Who says you can get too much of a good thing? Line 6 Bass POD XT Live Features: 28 Legendary and Classic Bass Amp Models 22 Bass Cab & 4 Mic models Over 50 Stompbox and Studio Effects w/ Flexible Routing 6 Simultaneous Effects 64 Channel Memories Variax Bass Digital Connection Discrete outputs for modeled and direct sound Large Backlit Display Dedicated Stompbox On/Off Footswitches Large Backlit Display Combination Volume/Expression/Wah Pedal Built-in Chromatic Tuner Tap Tempo/Tuner Footswitch Input for additional Expression Pedal Onboard Deep Editing USB Digital I/O Biamp output mode with selectable crossover Headphone Out Aux Input for CD/MP3 players, drum machines, etc. Full MIDI Support Pics; I'm after £170 for it, which i thinks fair considering its age and condition. Chuck another £12 if you'd like it posted, but i'd much prefer collection from myself in Norfolk (but i'm also in East London quite regularly so something could be arranged for collection from there) Any questions please ask, Cheers Y'all!
Hi guys. Just letting you know that Jase is a top (if not incredibly tall) bloke to deal with! Btw, how do you get on with the V-amp pro? Replacing my amp, and its on my list...
Cheers Matty, and yeah the V-Amp is a great piece of kit for the money. (i paid about £80 for mine s/h, and a mate recently gave me a floorboard controller for doing some backing tracks for him.) I wish i had bought this before i bought my Bass Pod XT Live thing, because this covers everything i need it to do, and its sooooo easy to use. If you fancy a mosey up to sunny Norfolk at some time you're welcome round to come try it out for a few hours before you buy one. -

Righty-ho, this week i are be mostly flogging my Peavey 2x10 and 4x10 bass cabs. Both in good-very good condition, and only gigged probably about 20-ish times (i have a 300w combo i use for smaller venues.) I'm pretty sure the 2x10 is the TX model, and the 4x10 is the TVF, but i'll venture into the garage and check tomorrow. I'm also pretty sure they're both 4ohms, but again i'll confirm tomorrow, along with the dimensions and weight of each. The 4x10 comes with heavy-duty castors, both have adjustable horns, and both are B*****d loud. Collection would be preferred from myself in Norfolk, but i visit London and Bristol (via Luton/Oxford) quite regularly, so its possible something could be worked out. I'm after £110 for the 4x10, and £80 for the 2x10. And the Mudflap-girl decals will be removed!

Right, i'm flogging this because its way too big for my needs; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/400watt-Car-Sub-Woof...1QQcmdZViewItem If a BassChatter buys it i'll knock a few quid off, and i'm open to swap offers if anyones got anything interesting thay wanna get rid of. Cheers y'all!

Well i've been toying with the idea of shifting this for a little while now, and then today i get a phone call from the bank....... So its time for it to go. Its in great condition, never gigged or even rehearsed, just used for a few recording sessions. 24 Fret Evangkol and Wenge neck, Swamp Ash body, very recently upgraded hardware, 17mm string spacing, Passive/Active electronics, cuts through the mix like butter. Twin MEC Jazz pups, in Honey Violin finish. Not sure what else to say really, its a beauty. I'm ideally after £700 for it, (it was over £1200 new) but due to life throwing me a curve-ball i'm open to the nearest offer. (you know how sometimes you'll be back on-track in a few weeks, but in the meantime you're broke as a joke...... Yeah, its crap 'aint it.) Anyways, feel free to ask any questions either on here or PM me. Guessing postage will be about £20- fully insured, but pick up (and viewing) is more than welcome from myself in the lovely realms of Norfolk.
