  1. I bought it off Lozz, still got it. It's brilliant.
  2. Orange Little Bass thing has a compressor that does a great tube amp impression.
  3. Happy to come to an arrangement, feel free to DM me
  4. Nearly the first birthday of this post ☺️ we're having some friends round then going to soft play with my other amps and basses.
  5. For me, it's not the notched volume per se (the Ashdown ABM has them) it's the uneven jump in volume in the first few notches. And I did exactly the same thing with the footswitch input
  6. Finally got to use my LBT in anger tonight and was very impressed. It's loud, very loud. The EQ is very usable and the compressor adds so much character. I played it with a precision and through a Barefaced Super Twin and barely had the volume at 9 o'clock, in a loud rock band in a village hall. The only gripes I have; It's so powerful I had to put a tea towel under it to stop it falling off my cab. I may invest in a rubber Matt or some rack ears and a new shallow rack - although this seems like it's missing the point of an amp so small. The notched volume control takes a bit of work, it goes from too quiet to very loud so I had to use the volume on my bass to assist with the levels. I will look into getting the pots changed under warranty like another chap did on here. Overall, very happy. A great bit of kit.
  7. I've recently bought one of these and I love it. the compressor does add a nice tubey grit and it's bloody loud (maybe more so than my Mk1 Terror!)
  8. Currently Orange Little Bass Thing Orange Mk1 Terror 500 (backup) Barefaced Super Twin Orange OB1-300 combo (for sale!) Ashdown LB30 (amazing for recording and practising, not quite enough for gigging) Ashdown Mi12 cab (used with the LB30) Trace Elliot 715 SMC (my first proper amp, UK made, will never sell it) I go through phases with amps, dreading the next one but I think i'm settled now (famous last words!)
  9. If you don't need to sell it, don't! If you think you'll regret it you probably will. I didn't think I'd regret it and it ate at me for years.
  10. Had one of these and it's the only piece of gear I genuinely regret selling, I could have saved a lot of time and money if I'd kept hold of it in the first place. Sadly don't need one anymore but whoever gets this, don't be as daft as I was! Bargain price too - GLWTS
  11. I sold my ABM to Paul. Good comms and easy to deal with. Cheers mate!
  12. Please don't stop buying amps. I think our tastes are quite similar and my wife/accountant is grateful you try before I buy... you're doing God's work mate!
  13. To quote Peep Show: "Do you have to live quite so relentlessly in the real world?" It's a fair point though...
  14. Morning all, Just put my ABM up for sale, a few unexpected bills necessitates it's departure
  15. For sale is my Ashdown EVO IV 600 amp head. Bought it a few months ago from this very forum, and has left the house twice since. Comes in a Hotcovers sleeve. Looks and sounds great, selling this to pay for unexpected bills. No trades please. Looking to move it for what I paid for it - £450. Collection from Witney, West Oxfordshire.
  16. How does it compare with the ABM in these terms
  17. Keeping an eye on this as you seem to test drive every amp I want... Thank you for your service to my bank balance!
