  1. Does it go un-milky over time or once it's gone it's start again time?
  2. I was going to suggest what about getting the Tom Petersen (spelling?) signature model from Gretsch as it's still in production. Then I looked and at $13000 I can see why not!
  3. They're my favourite too. It looks like a Cafe Creme Merci!
  4. Even bigger challenge for me, I live in Germany so it won't make any sense to anyone
  5. Given that the mark 1 is just a black (orange, kind of crispy) box, if it works why not leave it as is and use it? You may start a trend for melty stompboxes...
  6. Just spritz it with some Halfrauds rattle can lacquer and call it finished
  7. Are you whizzing your boobs off on CA fumes yet @Andyjr1515?
  8. Were you a UHU rep in a former life that you can afford to cover a bass body in superglue?
  9. By Thor's hairy beard Smanth. Glad you're physically OK at lest, take your time over the trauma, don't try and rush things because everyone else thinks you should just woman up over it.
  10. Unglue the fretboard I fear. The new truss rod may be too big for the existing hole. A professional will be along in a bit to tell you I'm wrong
  11. Will that upper "horn" be strong enough, would a single cut be better? Just thinking aloud.
  12. "The best way to deal with complexity is give in to it." - Oscar Wilde. (Sort of)
  13. Nice. I don't hate tort.... Just tort and sunburst together
  14. No, it had even less body shape than that. Literally a length of plastic box section.
  15. Something rings a bell there about a beam body, like Twiggy, but made out of thick wall plastic box section with a headless neck some how grafted onto the front. I don't *think* it was on BC, put given the mad ideas that sometimes pop up it may have been. Probably elsewhere on the interwebz.
  16. I could be mean and ask whether you were any good at colouring in between the lines as a child, but I've got to extend the pickup holes on my t-bird-alike and they're going to be visible!
  17. I would have thought retractable frets activated by a little lever or motor wasn't beyond your skill set...
  18. I seem to remember you using it before? Isn't it a total **** to finish because the pores are gigantic or something equally difficult?
  19. If you haven't already, check out Mr. Jr1515s thread on how to hide almost everything behind the body. Psilos is the name of the bass.
