I have my Hartke HA4000 in for repair at the moment. As soon as its ready I will be looking to sell my Ashdown Mag 300 head as well as the two cabs. all pictured above It will be mounted in a brand new Warwick 19" 4 unit gig bag rack. I would also be willing to trade the amp and both cabs plus £100 for a decent 4 x10 of some sort.
ian, Always worth asking if anyone can help in the General Discussion area. You never know. If someone is heading that way they could help with the swap.
possibly mate but it seems a lot of trouble to swap a couple of cabs. I might just buy a 4x10 and then flog these off afterwards, it would seem to be a simpler idea
I've got a great Ampeg 4x10 Hlf (uSA made..not the cheap china ones!) that i would swap...but alas i am in Devon. If there's anyway of working it out i'd be interested! it has wheels too 4ohm 400W, i hardly use the 4x10 as i have a 6x10!
I can't really see a way of doing it to be honest Devon is an extremely long way from here

We are a classic rock covers band based in and around Bury lancs. We do the odd one or two gigs a month and money isn't the prime motivation. We all play in other bands (function bands etc) so we don't want to work loads. We have our own rehearsal room in bury Lancs and rehearse one night a week, The set up is twin lead guitars, Vocals, Drums and hopefully a new bass player. If you fancy having a laugh and playing a few tunes and having a few beers then get in touch.
I wish that was true! I have a Warwick Thumb 4 string 1991 NT and I can guarantee you that the Warwick decline is everywhere! Go to the Bass Gallery in London and ask what the would give you in part exchange - they won't even take it. Don't know why this has happened as they are great basses and worth s stack more than they are currently selling for hence the reason I still have mine!!! Mark
yeah but thats the bass gallery and everything they sell is at least £200 more expensive than anywhere else . Fact is I have been watching Warwicks sell for good money on Fleabay. All guitars seem to go though a dip at some point. If the market down south is slow then your better off keeping hold of it and waiting for it to pick up again as it most certainly will. The sellers market for everything is bad at the moment to be fair. Sound control were offering me USA Stratocasters for £400 a coule of months back. Even stingrays are only fetching 600 and I have seen a couple go for 550, And we see loads of Fender US P's and Js going for £450. I I watched a mex jazz deluxe go for 170 this weekend I am rying to hold on to everything Ive got and am buying stuff where and when I can and sticking it in the cupboard for better times. In fact this evening I have just managed to pick up a mint Marshall JCM 800 50w 1x12 combo for £250, the serial dates from 1983. definately a bargain -

I'm not arsed really. I'm more of a gigger than a polisher. New basses are a waste of money IMO, why pay almost twice the price for the sake of a few bangs and dings?
Maybe it's just not a bass for fattys or shortys, I am unfortunately both, haha.
I'm both too and find my Streamer LX really comfy, they are heavy basses but its worth the sacrifice for what you gain in feel and tone compared to lesser instruments I think. Maybe you chose the wrong model
MB1. Hello Ian! If this had been a Thumb 4BO id be looking for change down the back of the Couch now!
heh heh, much better than a thumb IMHO I don't like the shape of thumbs one bit. I thought I had it sold at one point but it turned out to be a scammer to be honest I am becoming more reluctant with every gig I do with it to part with it, its just that I really fancy jazz type thingy or a Stingray for a change

I found tone of these packed away in my attic. I must have bought this donkeys years ago and never used it. Has anyone used one?
