1. I recently purchased a MarkBass super synth and connected it up to my trusty Gigrig. I connected up to the first port on the distributor module...I figured that hopefully that gives it the most power. When I start up the pedalboard and turn on the Supersynth a noise similar to that of feedback from a phone through speakers is created. After a while, the pedal 'warms up' and it works fine! I have no idea why this happens, it's not the pedal I don't think as I have tried the unit with a separate power supply and it operates. Any thoughts?

5. I've got the whammy V and it's fantastic, only thing I would say is that some of the Ocatve features sound fairly synthy, but still, a great purchase. Oh and don't buy it from America, even if it initially looks cheaper because you have to pay all those import fees and wait about 4 weeks....
6.
Can I ask why you decided to switch the voltage while it was on?
I wasn't really concentrating on what I was doing and I'd never noticed the switch before. I didn't really anticipate my head to explode at the flick of a switch :s
7. Thanks to my own idiocy I managed to 'blow up' my Amp head by switching the input voltage from 320 to 115 on the back of the amp....while it was on. This resulted in the amp no longer functioning and I've had to send it back to Fender/Genz Benz. I've been contacted by the helpful people at Fender, informing me that ''the amp needs a new power module". My question to you wonderful people is - Is it worth paying the £218 to get it fixed? (including cost of part, labour and VAT) or should I save and buy a new head? OR find a independent amp geek to fix it for cheaper? Cheers
8.
Someone's already mentioned it but I tend to have mine slung at the same height when sitting to when standing up...
Yeah, this is what I've been taught and the way that makes sense in my head, sometimes maybe a TAD lower, just so I can reach the lower notes, perhaps that's just because of the Dingwall though....
9. Oh deary, going to have to sell my body then. Might see if I can come to some kind of agreement where I pay over a certain amount of time, but just pay them more money or something, we'll see.
10. So I went into Wunjo's Bass centre on Denmark street today and after spying the same one in a local shop back home, I HAD to try out this mother. The guys in there gave me a great deal and I now want the bass more than air... However, not easy to pull that kind of money together quickly! So my question for you is, how limited are the FSR runs?
11. In the market for a Synth Pedal, the Markbass Supersynth seems to be the most diverse and have the best tracking. Many people seem to complain about having to edit the settings via computer, but surely the pros of having such a multi-functional pedal seem to outweigh the cons? I understand the electroharmonix synth is a great piece of gear too, just looks like too many parameters for one sound. I like the idea of having many effects available in one pedal... Anyway, I'm ranting - what are your thoughts on the Markbass Supersynth, is it a must have or a nightmare to use efficiently ? cheers J

13. No, sorry man, sold it on
14. Like new, never been gigged, comes boxed without power unit. Great bit of kit and seriously underrated, can get some almost trem like sounds with it. This pedal takes your signal and produces percussive sounds in a groove, the tempo of which can be adjusted by the secondary pedal. looking for £100 RRP £150 Let me know
15. (Sorry if this is in the wrong topic) Does anybody know of a way of changing the name of a page if you have over 200 fans? Pretty sure it might be impossible but not convinced because the guys at 'No treble just bass' managed to change their name to "No Treble" on their Facebook. I sent them a message asking how and they replied "If you go to "edit page" and "update info" on your fan page, there's a bit where you can request to change your name. It's just beneath the Map Location. Let me know if this helps! Thanks! The No Treble Crew" I can't find where they're on about at all, perhaps it's only on the American site? - I can change the "username" (URL) but nothing else.... I figure if I can't change the name I'll PM a load of people to unlike and then re-like at a later date the page. Thoughts?
16. Looking to trade my TU-2 for a Korg Pitchblack, simply because I'm trying to get some more space on my pedalboard and I like the design better. OR £45 for TU-2 SOLD
17. I don't know if it's just me and my sick mind, but I always thought that the Corvettes body contour (If that's a phrase?) looks like some kind of sexual object and when I was looking for a new bass a while back most of my mates seemed to agree.....And that's the story of why I didn't get a Warwick.
18. So most of you will be familiar with blending a dry and wet signal with the Boss LS-2 and I recently realised I had a Behringer AB100 kicking around and I was wondering if I could do the infamous signal blend with this pedal. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/AB100.aspx Perhaps I'm just being dim but I can't work out a signal chain where I could blend two signals, it's likely that I can't have the two channels playing at the same time as I suppose it is a Line selector. I tried Bass > Tuner bypass > input A Effects > input B Which didn't really work, I could only switch between effected and clean. Anyway, excuse me if I'm being dim, any thoughts?
19. I've got the line 6 G30, granted not really a rack unit but for the value for money here is exceptional, would highly recommend it.
20. If this is still going, I'd be happy to buy it...

Power Supply

So obviously there are many options to powering pedals, I tried daisy chaining and it's just a massive hassle and I still get buzz, mainly thanks to my power guzzling freeze pedal. I was wondering if those with the likes of vodoo power, DC powerbrick and T-Rex power supplies would say that they are worth spending the money on? - do you still get buzz, even with over £100 of power supply? Cheers J
22.
OP, perhaps you could confirm whether you mean blisters or internal pain. Some more general detail would help people to help you.
Yes, I mean the tips of the fingers
23. So recently I've been doing a fair amount of bass playing with my band etc, and my first finger and middle finger now hurt a tremendous amount when I attempt to play again, can anyone give me some tips on how to speed up the healing process or numb the pain? Despite having large chalices on my fingers I still often fall victim to pains in the two fingers. Thanks
24. Good book I can recommend is 'Serious Electric Bass: The Bass Player's Complete Guide to Scales and Chords' - only downside is that you need to be able to read bass clef really, but anyway , it's phenomenal, got pretty much everything in once place. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Serious-Electric-Bass-Contemporary-ebook/dp/B004HW672W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340750410&sr=8-1
