Love this thing to bits! Just made a video with it on every instrument. I had a blast on the plasma rack at NAMM too, seriously good gear. They had 2 patched in stereo and it was a lot of fun. Shame its £2500 worth of fun!

Hey Guys! So GCA are running a YouTube competition, the video with the most thumbs up wins a Plasma pedal. I thought this could be a good way of anyone thats entered showing their stuff and hopefully getting there views up. Or just sharing any other love for the GCA Plasma! Here's mine featuring my NS CR5M through the Plasma and a Moog LPF. Im a big effects nut and this sort of thing is my bag. In an internet filled with Vulfpeck covers I like to do something a bit different. I would love to know what you guys think. I have been using the plasma -> moog combo for about a year now and it yields some pretty epic results!

Just bought an Akai Unibass from Dunc. Quick and very friendly comms, really well packaged and kindly arranged a courier. He even included an unexpected power adapter! All together very pleasant and easy deal. An asset to our community. Thanks Dunc.

NOW £400 Hey Guys! The great gig drought clear out continues! I DI for 95% of gigs and now I'm locked down in my flat I am just not using this at all. Its a shame as it's a fantastic cab and is so loud and consistent. I am open to trade / part ex on a small lightweight cab or combo 110 or 112, something that can do home volume and small gigs. It comes with the official Bergantino Cover and is in great condition overall. Based in Liverpool but can meet up and do relatively contactless transactions. I am happy to post for an extra cost. Any questions please drop me a message Website specs: 2-10" Woofers, 56 oz magnet High Intelligibility tweeter Custom Phase-coherent crossover with tweeter control 400 Watts Frequency response: 44hz-15khz Sensitivity: 98db @ 2.83v/1meter 54 pounds / 24.5kg 18 1/2" H x 22 3/4" W x 12 1/2" D

Hey Guys. Up is my Moog Freqbox. The infamously insane pedal. This pedal creates a note from a real analogue oscillator that tracks to your pitch, ie you can make your bass sound like a real Moog oscillator, or blend it in with it. There are tonnes of options with these so I'd suggest have a little youtube delve into all of the sounds they can make. This has only had studio use the whole time Ive owned it I recently had a chat with Phil Hartley from Space who said its all over their records. This is a 2004 model in pretty excellent condition, these are increasingly rare and sought after since the Moogerfooger line was discontinued recently. Price includes UK shipping. If you have any questions please get in touch. At the moment I am not really looking for trades as I have an Alpher to fund!

NOW £125 SHIPPED Hey cool cats and kittens. Up is my recently serviced Sansamp Programmable Bass Driver DI. 3 Programmable channels of the very best Sansamp-y ness. Perfect for being stuck at home recording and as a live tool when gigs happen again. Runs on 9V, Battery or Phantom Power for ease. It sounds like a Sansamp Overall condition is quite good, and as I say recently serviced so sounding and behaving like new. Price includes UK postage.

Thanks for clearing that up! I did wonder if it was maybe the strings. I am fancying an NXT5 as the low Bs seem to sound really great. I'm assuming the stock strings are glorified electric strings in that case.
-
Also new to EUB's. I play electric professionally and a little DB. Looking for something to gig and record with that ideally takes effects well. Ive found an SWB-03 and an NXT and Im a little torn. Particularly with the NXT, most videos ive seen sound crap but the odd one Ive found sounds amazing, could that be a strings thing? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys! GAS Has set in. I do a lot of remote recording and this has me so intrigued. Ive got a DWJ 50W SVT clone that is great but Ive got to crank it so much and mic it etc, and now Im in quarantine I'm loving the idea of one of these on the desk top! Who's got one and how are you getting on?
-
Up is a boxed set of Lace Man O War pickups. These have a great vintage voiced midrange with a more aggressive high and controlled bass. Sits really nicely between vintage and modern pickup sounds. I had these in a Marcus Miller Jazz and they were a huge improvement on the factory pickups. Theyre going on ebay new anywhere from £150-215. Asking £75 including UK postage. https://lacemusic.com/collections/8/products/lace-man-o-war-j-bass-set

Reluctantly up for sale is my one of a kind DWJ 50W head, "The Wembley". Dan of DWJ is a legendary amp repairman and builder and has worked with just about every famous band in the north of England. He built this for me 3 years ago. The preamp section is based on channel 2 of a 70's blue line Ampeg SVT, its then matched with a 50W power section for all your favourite tones at a usable volume and giggable weight. It was hand wired out of the highest grade parts, including military spec pots and transformers. It has been used exclusively in the studio and regularly serviced and revalved. Put simply. It sounds and feels incredible. I recently had a small but very costly car accident, if it hadn't have been for that, I wouldnt be selling it. Standard DWJ amp builds start at £1600, I'm asking for less than half that for a one of a kind, beast of an amp. Collection or meet ups preferred.

Reluctantly, my Moog Bass MuRF is up for sale. It's in great condition and has been barely used outside of a couple of studio days. If you are looking you probably know what this is. Its just brilliant but sadly a recent car accident means I need the cash. UK tracked and insured postage included in the price.
