1. Very nice job dude, looking great!
2. I really like the new range, very cool.
3. It is active, I believe the preamp is a Kubicki? Sounds good. The body is Poplar with an Ash top (visible through the translucent finish). From what I've been told they were only produced for 2 years in Mexico between 94-96...they flung the kitchen sink at them to prove they could build USA quality basses. Interesting basses and quite highly regarded.
4. Yup, I have one too. I love it - lovely neck, good weight and very well built. It doesn't sound like your run of the mill P bass...but I love it. £395 is a very fair price imo.
5. Worth every single penny, if I had the money I'd buy it. Good luck.
6. My Wal had the reverse effect...made me think I played worse!
7. Well done, these are extremely well built and punch above their weight. Great bass!
8. I literally just missed out on this when it was sold on ebay a few weeks ago and I was absolutely gutted. ....now the cash has gone on another bass. Stunning GLWTS.
9. This has to be one of the nicest basses i have seen...stunning!
10. Whoa! That's the nicest one I have ever seen!
11. I used to own an almost identical model in the 80's...mine was white. Quite simply the best bass I have ever owned. Congratulations on a stunning collection.
12. Contact Doug Wilkes at Wilkes Guitars. Based in Keele, Staffordshire he will hand build you exactly what you want from the very finest select materials literally to the nth degree. This will be done with a minimum dose of bullshit and a large helping of sardonic humour, unlimited free coffee and chocolate digestives thrown in. https://youtu.be/SiNrSKqvLK0
13. Lovely! The pro series are as good as the German Warwicks, beautifully made basses.
14. I've owned three different Mexican Fenders, two Precisions and a Jazz. I've also owned a few old US models (including a cracking vintage Jazz from the early days). My honest opinion? The Mex P's were just about on a par with the US models...the Mex Jazz however was average and not quite on point (but okay once the frets were leveled and a few other nips and tucks carried out).
15. Great seller, bought a Fender P bass (special) - great, honest communication and fast delivery. Top bloke, highly recommended.
16. A reply to the offer I made 5 days ago would have been nice (as promised). Anyway best of luck to the lucky new owner.
17. Absolute beauty, you could probably flip it right here at BC for a handsome profit (nudge nudge wink wink!)
