Downside it has some fret wear and a buzz from one of the tuners. Plus a boss bass flanger and a set of mexican p bass pick ups that need new covers .
Thanks for the offer but its not for me... anything else?

  6. Yep I had one a few years back sounded fantastic, colour was purple with black hardware and looked great, very similar to a Bass Collection, neck was super skinny very fast and the preamp was good too. I sold mine for £240 thinking now that seemed too cheap for such a nice bass.
What do all those pickups actually DO? Is that five separate pickups or are they "clustered" somehow? And how do the controls work?
They have been fitted as 2 single coils at the neck and a seperate single coil with an additional pair of single coils joined to make a humbucker at the bridge, with this you can solo each pickup or mix and match with the push/pull pots all with their own individual volume. That does sound confusing, I am useless at explaining this. Sorry

Hi there, having to sell off some gear to relieve the credit card bill :-( so here is my Prose bass bought from the man himself a couple of months back. It has had the extra pickups fitted at my request as I wanted more tonal options and has push/pull pots, so all pickups can be selected individually. The neck is lovely and fast and the sound on the bridge pickups is really meaty, shame this has to go but I have bought way too much recently. Now at £175 + Postage or swap for any bass equipment here are some bad pics.

Just bought this the other day from fellow a basschatter needless to say the pedal is amazing but my pedalboard is full and I know this will sit in the box for months/years so I might as well put it back up for sale, looking for what I paid for it £110 posted. It is the older version comes boxed with manuals and psu.
  23. Well today I just got the pedal out to see what this thing could be capable of and I couldn't believe I hadn't put this on the board, it will now take pride of place and will not be sold at any cost, I realised 3 years ago I bought around 50 different distortion pedals and this one was my favourite but as I was travelling light the past few years the pedal board only had a Bass-Drive and this has been sitting in a case. The sounds are really very different on the front 4 selectable patches, from a Fulltone Bass-Drive to a Woolly Mammoth sound, it really is very versatile and now have my perfect set up. a Bad Pic below of the inside
  24.
That sounds like brand new steel strings before they've done a setup, loadsa trebly rattle.
I agree, first time I have seen the clip but I didn't hear much warm tone to my ears, hope it was his settings as I am sorely tempted by this.
  25. I really do quite like these, I think it has to be the right colour to make it work for me though but the tonal options should be pretty much everything I need. Hmmm could feel an import coming especially as they are half the UK price!
