SOLD

Thanks Rusty, its so easy to play these basses would keep her but I just fancy a change. Collection available for £420
3. Excellent thanks for that, I understand it all now, hmmm your purple sig is a dream bass looks brilliant how much did that set you back? Is the neck glossed front and back like US Fender Basses? Shame also there is no tone control on that Precision pickup, I like a deeper tone. Think I might go looking for one now if I can find a decent 2nd hand version about.

6.
I don't know too much about them, but I'm pretty sure all of the necks on any of the models are the same as a Precision bass, Billy says himself the chunky neck reminds him of his old P-Bass. Umm there are a few models: Standard (None of the Sheehan gizmos) Artist ( Double jack output and a covered neck pick up) Signature (All of the Sheehan whistles and bells, Scalloped frets, Dimarzio Pick up's etc etc etc.) And then I think it's the 20th or 25th anniversary model which came out in either purple or black, L-Falex has one I think. Like I said I'm not 100% sure on all of that, but price wise I've seen a second hand Signature one go for about £800+, which isn't too bad, there just not that common.
thanks josh, clears the neck issue up, prefer jazz width but watching him play it must be fast! What is the LTD 2 about is that an Artist version?
7. Can anyone answer my questions above or does nobody know?
8. Sorry for stirring up this old thread... Someone pointed me to one of these as I said I like the sound of pickups near the neck end, (as I don't get on with Stingrays and don't slap) he told me these sound very loud and great for finger players, is that true? Just curious about these basses and have a few questions: 1, How many models are there? 2, Do any have a Jazz profile neck 1.5" nut width? 3, What sort of price do they come in at 2nd hand? ta
9.
Will you re-consider any of my 4str offers ?
Thanks for the offer but sadly they aren't what I am after.
10.
Are you looking only to 4 strings bass ?
Afraid so, I don't get on with 5 strings.

SOLD

Really not sure if I want to sell this but I haven't played it in ages so thought I might sell it. Bought around 18 months ago new, comes in excellent condition never gigged just bedroom use only, when I bought it I went round loads of music shops finding the Jaguar with the lowest action without fret buzz and this is the best Jaguar I came across by a mile. Looking for £440 posted via paypal There is no case or bag but will post in double box with plenty of bubble wrap. Ebayed too
14. Selling my newly purchased Sansamp Programmable Bass Driver, stupid me sold my EBS Microbass 2 to buy a brand new one of these but after trying in one practice preferred the Microbass so have bought another one so this has to go. If I had the receipt I would take it back but alas cannot find it anywhere. Excellent condition not a scratch on it comes with box and instructions, so looking for £120 posted via paypal.
15. Stop it your tempting me now... must resist as my ever saving for a Status Bass, but its so cheap for a Graphite neck bass, if it had 2 pick ups it would be a no brainer for me.
16. just a nudge...
17. Don't put it on ebay, I put my Stu Hamm Fender on 4 times and got no bites. That Roscoe went for stupid money at the weekend.
18. Some nice basses there, still deciding on either Stealth 4 string headed or Hellborg 4 String headed, oh yeah and I have that last Groove bass with Graphite neck will get a pic up soon.
19. Wished the whole bass was for sale looks like some great mods. How low can the action go with the badass bridge?
20.
Really? Shame coz they're a good "cheaper" intro to the world of Status!
Thats the reason I wanted to opt for one, you can still get a brand new Status under £1000 Was told if you ask now there may still be enough bits to put together one, but very soon they will be withdrawn from the website.
21.
can't offer a definitive answer but my old graphite necked Groove was very growly and had an alder body.
Ha Doc, I actually bought that bass from you, thats why I have this urge to have another Status... On another note phoned Dawn to find out they are not making anymore Smartbasses.
22. Bump - will swap for another 4 string bass with cash adjustment either way...
23. Still toying with the idea of these basses, which of the 4 woods on offer has the best sound for a warm growly sound? I am not into bell like glassy sounds. I tried calling Status Graphite and also emailed a few times in the past couple of weeks but no response as yet, they must be busy.
24. Hi Glenn Yes still available, which I can't believe and I am based in Norwich/Yarmouth area. Thanks Ash
