One well loved but in good working order Peavey Classic VT 212 combo. This is one of the transistor pre-amp and valve power amp models from the 70's and 80's. I think this one might be an '84 model but please don't hold me to that! I have fitted two new Emminence speakers within the last year as the originals, which can also be included, need re-coning. The amp was also serviced within the last year by Ian Davies Electronics in Basingstoke. This is a big and loud amp, with plenty of head room and features. This is the model that has an inbuilt phaser and features 4 input channels of Normal A, Normal B, Bright and Automix - which allows you to blend the gains on the normal and bright channels. All features functioning. Collection prefered but if your happy to pay for a stupid amount of bubble wrap and cardboard plus postage then I will post!!

Hi Pete, Medium I believe is just referring to the gauge as opposed to length, I fitted a set to 34" scale bass with no issue and plenty of length left. They are "clear" coated strings, they appear more grey in appearance rather than a bright chrome. Info from DR strings: http://www.drstrings.com/#!dragon_skin/cw6n
Medium as in gauge or scale length? Also, are they coloured?
PM replied, Many thanks for bringing this to my attention, listing double checked and revised. Thank you The unit can operate standalone but only as and A-D convertor, firewire is for linking additional units, PCIe card would allow for access to the other functionality of the unit, PCIe not presently available, it appears to have been misplaced during our move...grrr
is it a firewire one or an audiofire one ? I seem to remember that some 2408 need a special PCI card whereas other would work on a normal firewire port ? Can you confirm (i think it is depending on whether it is mk1 mk2 or mk3) ? If it works on plain firewire, count me in for it Thanks,
For sale one used but in good condition MOTU 2408 audiowire interface, this unit can operate in standalone mode, it is used to convert analog signal input to a digital format, such as an ADAT or similar HDD recorder. Apologies for my initial mistake in listing. Please see this forum for more insight to this device, as I would imagine most have viewed this thinking it is simply a firewire interface. http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=36080 £50 for the device and £6 p&p on this. - Open to offers Andy
