Dave: yeah that's where it's stamped and it is a bolt on neck (I think) , it is in need of some repair, one of the pickups isn't being held in very well I think the screws have pulled through the wood and aren't biting into anything and the chrome has some surface rust on it but I think it was a pretty good buy for £75 with the westbury hard case . Now I just need to learn how to play it...

I hope so, if so I just got a bargain, my main concern is that it doesn't say any make anywhere on it.

Hi, I just bought a bass off a friend and they said it's a Westbury 'Les Paul' Bass Guitar however it has no markings on it anywhere apart from on the back it says "Made in Japan" anybody know what it is?
