1. And sawed the second one as well. Stacked on top of each other to show the difference between the bass and guitar body.
2. Second body ready to be sawed in to shape, picture to show the size difference between the two.
3. Guitar: Made a rough neck layout, only the scale and fret positions are absolutely correct. With the use of this neck layout I was able to modify the body design to something that fits nicely to this neck, around it's 1 to 1,5 cm smaller than the bass body. Still need to work out the headstock, once I've got the nut and bridge I can do that, not urgent right now.
4. This was the last of my old build diaries that needed the pictures to be updated.
5. ... thanks. Now I'll have to do my stinking best to keep up to the expectations.
6. Sawed The bass body in to shape. The guitar will follow later, first need to do some tweaks to the design.
7. Most boards I use are 5 to 6 millimeters thick.
8. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. On most of the ACG basses the fingerboards are flat as well.
9. Sanded flat the front- and backside. Frontsides. Backsides. Wetted down the fronts with some water to let the grain pop to roughly show how they will look after oiling and also to let the wood fibers swell a little so the final sanding will be even smoother.
10. Filling the tiny burl holes with CA glue before I sand the body level. There are two spots and they go right through the body.
11. Leveled the sides, sawed to the right thickness and roughly in shape. I think this will become the (righty) guitar version, the grain looks lovely. Still more than enough oversized. Will do the same tomorrow/day after tomorrow on the other body.
12. Added all my images again - Thanks Photof*cket! And...... Sawdust!!! Finally did something on the bass version, re-sawed the beam to something more manageable. Next up: Level the sides that will be glued together and thin down these two pieces of wood. (Lets wait and see when the urge comes up ) For the time being I'm just going to start on the bass version, the guitar client will become enthusiastic once he sees something happening.
13. DIY'd something again, a Wierd object. It's a replacement for the 'round the corner' extensions. Despite the low cost of these extensions they are not really that practical or pleasing to the eye so in the end I decided to fabricate something myself. Attached, filled and ready for use. Also added a couple of new mini pedals, a TC electronic mini Corona, 2nd chorus for over the top use, also very handy due to the use of Toneprints. The Mooer Bass Sweeper is back again and added a Mooer @wah.

15.
It keeps on mutating, current version. The Boss Loop Station is there temporarily, waiting for a Night Wire tremolo by EarthQuaker Devices to fill this place on the board. The Loop Station will be used separate from the board once the Night Wire is in.
The Night Wire is in, also added a Electro Harmonics Canyon, as if I did not have enough delays already. Gone is the Mooer envelope. The Night Wire is brilliant, so much more than just a tremolo! The Canyon has some very useful functions the other two delays and reverb don't have.

18. All of a sudden the longer frets get a function! Fantastic idea, looks great.
