4.
I was having a sort out and came across these, i bought an Hartke amp a while back and it must have come with it. basically they are eight black plastic protective edges and for rubber feet which must be for an amp. looks like most of the screws are there. if anyone wants these i will stick them in a jiffy bag and post them 2nd class. pics if you want them.
If these are still going, I'll take them, as I've got a HA7000 unracked with no corners. Cheers muchly Andy

  11. Bump for new prices and stuff back on.
  12. I've seen it done somewhere, but I'm buggered if I can recall where. It was done on a single-string instrument, and the string ran back down the instrument (inside perhaps?) so it could be connected to both poles of the jack. I'll try to find a link this evening. Andy
  13. Paul bought a Rocktron off me - good guy to deal with, no messing about. Andy
  14.
I'll vouch for Alien. He sold me a DIY 2x10 and its a cracking little cab.
Thanks Buddy! This was built to go with the one I sold to The_D, it's got the same corners and connections just a different grille. Anyway, here's a couple of pics like you requested. 16. I've got a DIY 4 Ohm 1x15 that doesn't get a lot of use. Fitted with an Eminence Kappa driver, 450W handling. I'd be looking for about £80. I could probably deliver as I'm going to be down your neck of the woods fairly soon. PM me if you're interested. Andy
  17. And back to the top..

  20.
If a speaker is capable of bi-amping, then the plate on the back of the speaker will have 4 binding posts: 2 + terminals and 2 - terminals. Both + terminals and both - will have a piece of metal connecting them together. To bi-amp the speaker, remove the metal piece. Then, use the top 2 terminals for the high frequency amp, and the bottom two terminals for the bass amp.
No, no, no, no, no! Speakers with 2 linked sets of posts are suitable for bi-WIRING not bi-amping. This is one of those hi-fi things that always struck me as pointless, as you're still using the same passive crossovers. 21. The font used on the front panel says early '80s Laney to me. Andy

    ..

Assuming you could find one, you might also want to consider a Laney G12. Pretty much copied from the Trace GP12 (note I said copied, not cloned) runs bi-amp, stereo or mono. Worth a look if one comes up. Andy
  23. Here's an online tutorial Andy
  24.
Its pick up only, which makes it a little more difficult.
But on the plus side, it'll tend to keep the price lower. Andy
  25. I'd use the preamp out jack on the amp. It shouldn't affect the signal path as it'll be in parallel with it, and well buffered. This is the sort of thing it's designed for. Andy
