1. Lovely bass, what is the top made out of?
2. I posted the topic up on Facebook, let me know via PM on here or just post it on the Relay FB page as normal, and I'll post the up and coming gig dates as and when they're announced on the Basschat Facebook page.
3. Bump, making a bigger loss. But, the London Bass Guitar show is coming up and until they start giving away basses there, I'm willing to let this go for £300!
4. This might be a bit of a stupid question, but it's for people who have been to these kind of thing before. Do the companies there tend to show their lower-than-top range of basses as well as high end? Specifically, I'm asking about Spector and Warwick as I'll have about £1500 to spend on a new bass, and have my eye on a Euro Spector or a nice Warwick, but I understand that they also do quite expensive models as well and am not too interested in those! Also, I'll be there on Sunday. Perhaps not for long though, as my girlfriend will be with me and she's not a muso!
5. Bump, making a wee loss.
6. To be honest, it took me about 2-3 hours to fully adjust. But my first 5 string was my second bass and so it's never really felt too foreign.
7. Brilliant, see you Sunday!
8. That Fiesta Red CV is lovely, perhaps if my Guitar sells I will be contacting you (I just started teaching Drums and need a cheapo bass to take with me!) but I honestly doubt it'll be here very long. Good luck with the sale.
9. Bump! Please see first post (at the bottom) for the album of pictures I created.
10. Anyone know where I might be able to source some? I looked a while back and found the Schaller make them, but actually finding someone that sells them is another thing. I wanted some quite wide knobs, but really I'm after anything at the moment. I know Thomann stock some, but they are not in the style that I require.

Decided to have a little photo-shoot (mainly to help the sale along!)
12. It's one buyer's idea of what an item is worth vs another. An original seller should be happy with the amount that they receive for the item that they are selling and that should be the end of it. I also frown upon tarnishing another members reputation based purely on what amount of cash they are asking for an item. If you think they're asking too much, PM them. If it offends you, stay out of it, the item they're selling has nothing to do with you anymore.
13. Where 'bouts in Birmingham are you?
14.
I'll 2nd the Ibby SR. Makes the other's feel like baseball bats. The higher end SoundGear range can cover just about any sound you want.
My Ibanez Soundgear does just about that.
15. I wish bass guitars sell depending on how good the ad is, then perhaps mine still wouldn't be around.
16. Bump.
17. With my Ibanez SR Prestige hard-case (obviously specific to the SR bass itself) it won't shut with a strap on. And strap locks would mean that taking it on and off is a doddle, but the standard Schaller strap lock screws don't fit into the Ibanez holes...
18. Bump.
19. Was actually in the same boat as you a few days back. Lovely red Spector Euro LX5 on there at the mo' but it's about £1300 and with 25% that makes it an extra £325+...
20. Bump before bed.
21. Can't push to £50! But looks great in the Black.
