What about that bloke who was in Bros??
Aye that Ken off Bros nobbed Danni Minogue and almost bankrupted his band mates. Worthy of inclusion just for that.
am thinking of buying an affinity squier p-bass and would want to change the pups for wizards.does anyone now if they would be a perfect fit or a little modification is needed?also would it be worth it?just seen some seymour duncans on flea bay, same question on those as well please. thanks.
Probably drop straight in & if they are half as good as the 84's - well worth it. Give Andy at Wizard a call and ask him - very nice chap.

What Ben & Chris said. If you like that one - buy that one. If it's that good, sell everything to own it. I have kicked myself everyday for not buying the Carl Thompson with the Wal electrics that was on the 'bay a fair while back. And now I wouldn't be in a position to buy it even if it came up...
I'm quite interested in all the positive press these are getting - just don't know if I could cope with only 4 knobs to twiddle !
I've just binned ABM for LH and love it. You can keep your eclectic mix of knobs & sliders!

A Rhythm Stick shoot out at the next bash lads? I'm [s]in[/s] er, I mean out.

[s]As it says on the tin, 16 unused Tortex Standard 1.00mm plectrums [the blue ones], already snugged up in their jiffy bag... Cheers, John.[/s]
1: The LH500 should output 350watts at 8 ohms, i would guess? I'm wondering which would give me more volume and headroom into my 8 ohm cab (my main amp is all valve). 2: I get the feeling i'd be happier tonewise with an Ashdown.
1: Yep, 350w. 2: Just gone from ABM to LH and couldn't be happier.
Me without the goatee (see New Yer Rosolutions thread in Off Topic)
f*** me, Simon Pegg's shaved his beard off. -
Fried egg butty for brekky, croissants for lunch & the remains of last night's king prawn madras / egg fried rice combo and the last tin of lager in the house for tea. Lovely.

If you're selling your bass on ebay......

I flogged me old Aria to a gadgey in Italy. In fact I think the only interest was from overseas... -
How about one of these, one of these & some of these?
(that ones for BBC - haven't seen him around lately? Has he shacked up with BassManKev?)
3. All the way, bass, drums, Fender Rhodes / Hammond, singer, guitarist. In that order. Remember - get pissed up, not pissed off.
Sorry buddy, a Christian believes in God & Jesus etc, a scientologist believes in Zorg (or something like that), alien spirits & was made up by a science fiction author (L. Ron Hubbard).
Who by some bizarre and f***ed up bass-related coincidence, died in San Luis Obipso County on 24th January 1986. Any EBMM owners out there with a bass 'born' on this date are obviously under the influence of re-implanted thetans. EDIT: I bet Brian Fox isn't a scientologist.

I'd heartily recommend a bit of akker-dakker mush. Solid as a rock, ol' Cliff. Back in Black.

A tidy bunch of cables has just arrived via the postie and they look lovely. Top work over the festive season, Mr. L@@k no further, etc Cheers Dave. EDIT: Sound lovely too.
That explains it then chaps.. Our ears weren't deceiving us!
And possibly why Merton likens it to his V-Type...
I would recommend the ABM cabs for sound over the MAG, but if you are going to stack your combo onto the ext cab you might want to check dimensions to make sure it's fully supported as the ABM cabs can be quite a bit smaller.
The ABM handles don't lend themselves to sideways stacking either. B&Q do good rubber feet though.
I really liked the EBS when I had it. It was coloured but very natural, unlike the SABDDI which.. isn't. IMO. The EBS is also very flexible and useful for loads of other stuff. If you do get caught short, you're more than welcome to borrow my L.R. Baggs Para DI which is very nice, too.
I must agree with our 1 point less but 6 goals more friend - I'm on my 3rd DI in just over a year... 1st was a programmable SABDDI - 3 channels was nice, but needed to boost the mids on me amp, 2nd was a Sansamp Paradriver - added mid control, close but no cigar, 3rd & current - EBS MicroBass II - seems to give exactly what I need, whatever that is. That Baggs jobbie looks proper tasty though. Must...not...buy...another...DI...
