2. My party piece is stringing 2 notes together, in tune and in time. Or 'Anaesthesia (Pulling Teeth)' by Stiff Burton. Played badly mind.
 3. Fantastic gig this weekend, trouble was it was in my head. Note to self - play gig soon and take pics to prove it happened.
 4. Cracking bands, the lot of 'em! Check Evolve for some real sh*te. An acoholic drummer in liver failure, a drug casualty singer who persists in taking drugs, a guitarist with mild anxiety/depression and a bassist who can hardly get out of the house due to work / childcare commitments. Why are we not famous?
 5. More stuff to shift, this time a Laney B210 cab and funnily enough, it's a 2x10. It's in good working order, reasonable nick, minimal vinyl scuffage, corners / grill intact. I used it to add some mid & top to my dear departed Combo300, which it did admirably. I have recently been reminded that 'You haven't used that for ages - do you still need it or are you going to leave it under the stairs for ever like all your other sh*te?' Dimensions - Weight about 20kg, H: 360mm, W: 630mm, D: 360mm. Would prefer collection / meet at a reasonable distance (from Brighton), but could wrap in cardboard & look into courier at buyers cost. How does £60 notes sound? John
 6.
Has this sort of thing ever happened: Person A buys bass X. Person B sees that purchase and thinks "interesting". Significant time passes. Person A posts that they're now thinking of upgrading to bass Y. Person B asks "what are you thinking of doing to bass X?"
Every day I'd imagine!
 7.
Mine has two FO big proper handles inset into the sides .. not level or in the right place for balance, and they were fitted upside down when I got it but a lot easier to shift .. oh and it's on wheels too ..
Tea>>>screen. Wheels? Bastard.
 8.
here you go then ... not my decor, BTW
How man, that's mint! I'll try and find a pic of my old 300, sold broken to a mate for 50 quid, mended itself and hasn't gone wrong once being gigged every week for the last year. The 50 quid paid for 2 chiropractor sessions to undo some of the damage it did though. One handle on the top - great idea Peavey!
 9.
Thanks mate Not quite Pompey colours, but close enough eh?
I'll send you a sticker! Look great on the top horn it would! /ducks/
 10. Briefly played with an EBS Bass-IQ the other day - seemed great, so I've just dug out a Russian Bass Balls I was lent years ago by god knows who (ferrett? ) and never used as the box is just the right size to fit under my alarm clock, making it visible from bed without moving. Not too much chance to play yet, but I can only seem to get one usable sound out of it. That sound however, has got 70's blaxploitation cops n robbers car chase mofo funk written all over it, so feet off, velcro on and onto the pedalboard with you my son. Jubbly.
 11.
I'm fortunate enough to have my dream bass. It took ages to arrive but it was worth it.
Oi oi saveloy! Lush mate.

 15.
I would take the jacks off the board by using some wire, if that doesn't solve it, replace the jacks, if that doesn't solve it........... no idea.
I'd buy mine for £50 inc postage, some paint taken off by velcro on the bottom, otherwise pukka nick actually.
 16.
I like it You have to be careful, as has been posted higher up, but if she fits well and you can play her better than her current owner then something has to be done to rectify the situation!
And then you can enjoy her before she moves on to the next owner.
