1. I had a 215B many years ago and wish I'd never sold it - best cab I've ever owned - loud and even response. Just about one man liftable, castors on the side and easy to use as a trolley for the rest of your rig. Fitted in the back of me old Metro too.
 2. The Geddy Lee honks, especially with Wizard 84's in it. Try looking for a Jazz with the bridge pup closer to the bridge (early-mid 70's stylie IIRC...)
 3. Me ABM 2x10 combo & it's mate the 2x10 cab sound just chipper, but are at the limit of knackered back solo portability. If I gigged more and could justify it, I'd be waiting for a Shuttle 6 and a couple of Neo 12's like everyone else. Unless I had a roadie to do it all for me of course....
 4.
I love them too - had the same set on for over a year now and they still sound like new!
No sh*t, a year old? - I must try these given my 'set a gig' current usage
 5. Boss TU-2 does C# fine. The new Korg might be worth a look too... It's black, see.
 6. I'm in for the 7 too. Hippy customer service is spot on - they sent me a 1/16" allen key and a couple of grub screws gratis after I'd foolishly believed the sizing on me B&Q allen key and successfully rounded the grub screw on me BT-2.
 7.

Mark IV head - brutal! I had one of these through a Sunn 2x15 and it was awesome, best bass sound I ever had. Why did I sell it?
 8.
Ha ha, your wife will work it out when she starts to type something beginning with 'T' into Google and Windows suggests auto-completing with 'T*ts c*mshot' (edited because I thought that the filter would catch that, ha ha ha)
Fortunately she looks at the keyboard when typing and doesn't see the auto complete!
 9. Try here, here and here. IMO EBS MicroBass II is best, SansAmp ParaDriver 2nd best, but I've not played with the MXR. Good luck!
 10.
You f***er, I posted smut in the first reply to the OP.
I stand corrected. , the prize is yours! Bookmarked that little fella. In the folder right at the bottom of my 'Favourites' menu, where the wife doesn't look. EDIT: 'Join Now' - that another few quid of me GAS fund down the drain.... :brow:
 11.
geddy lee jazz.......
Everyone should have one
 12.
B*****cks! Beat me to it JL!
Can't believe it took 4 posts to get smutty. Come on lads, get your bloody fingers out, how often does a title like that come up. Fnarr fnarr.
 13.
...I was wondering if anyone knew of any good right hand 'workout' books.
Razzle.
 14.
It happens way too much, alot of the time we lend out cabs and drums and it's very rare we get a thank you.
Then they bugger off before your set. Probably nearly bedtime though and mum's taxi meter is running.
 15.
Just come up with the main groove/riff, the other groove/riff, a bridge and a vocal line.
Just?
 16.
Can any basschatters advise me as to which jazz bass pickups on the market can be wired for individual series/parallel operation?
The individual pups or both S-1 stylie? The lazy way
 17. +loads - woolly schmoolly!
The first was JJ Burnel's rig that was made up of four ABM 4x10s and two what seemed to resemble the Mark King Ashdown Labs heads but in black, not sure what these were.
They could well have been the Mark King Ashdown Labs heads but in black - see here. But what's he using for OD?
 18.
Had a great day there today and was absolutely blown away by Wojtek Pilichowski (sp?) on the Ashdown stand. What a player.
Bet no-one told him he sounded woolly
 19.
still gassing for bfm onmi 10 though or the tall boy 12.
Ain't that the truth, this country needs a BFM builder. If I had time / ability / workshop / any more GAS leeway with Mrs Lager that i haven't already used up, I would!
 20.
...like turning my combo on its side so the 10's are vertically stacked. i will also be buying another 2x10 cab to complement it.
Don't buy an ABM cab if your gonna do this Mike, the 'ergonomic' design of the handles makes it a little wobbly as my foot will testify.
 21.
Looking forward to that!.... Mr Rock 'n' f***ing Roll! What Lemmy did on the Hawkwind album, 'Space Ritual' made me wanna start playing!
Totally. Lot of Jazz bass on the early Hawkwind stuff, apparently...
 22. Stunning mate.
 23.
Reliving my youth with Thin Lizzy's greatest hits, with some Bob Marley thrown in aswell........nice!
Choice. In a similar vein, I'm alternating early Purple / Rainbow & a Gb or so of Ariwa sounds!
 24.
I love the basses, but sorry, I don't recognise what that instrument is in the middle. The little one with the six strings. P
'Tis a ladies guitar, m'lud.
