1.
Cash price?
£100 signed, sealed & delivered. Well, sealed & delivered anyway.
2. Check this out.
3.
You will need a medical........er....you were told weren't you?
I've got the gloves ready lads...
4. An '86 black Aria Pro II SB Elite I (like Cliff Burtons with the funky fret markers). Bought for £375, sold for £550 in 2005. Though I've got a cracking modded Geddy Lee now and the lack of a forearm chamfer on the Aria left my arm red raw after sweaty gigs! Wouldn't mind it back to hang on the wall though! It went to Italy, god bless the 'bay! RIP fella!
5.
Our drummer has turned up this article about not using rechargeable batteries in wireless mics ..
A drummer who can use a computer? Outstanding. Consider a trade for mid 60's White Lightning pickled model? Will deliver. Sounds Plausible. Could the battery problem be related to the older NiCd cells? Newer NiMh / Li cells should have less memory. Or would a disposable fit and change it before every gig? Good luck.
6. I have a pretty much mint condition one of these http://www.tech21nyc.com/bassdriver_p.html , boxed & manualed, nice piece of kit, but 2 channels too many! - Looking to swap for a Para Driver DI. If you want some pics, let me know. EDIT: SOLD
7. Have a Sunday boiler knackered wish I could afford this bass bump.
8. Welcome. Always worth trying, everything is worth something to someone. Er, that's a little deep for a Sunday afternoon, but I hope you know what I mean! EDIT: Post some pics & prices and see what happens...
9. Good, both online & in the store.
10. A J in series? Does that count?

12.
.....& be the cause of lots of arguments/disagreements/bloodshed before it got to the printing stage!
No sh*t. 14.
Can we have a sticky with chat abbreviation explanations, or do we have one already?
http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...l=abbreviations
15. In my experience, some stuff gets through, some doesn't. I think it also depends on what the supplier puts on the box - gifts for example, are not subject to tax. You've also got to think about the "holding charge" that nice companies like Parcelfarce add to the duty while they wait for your payment, often more than the bloody import duty. There, glad I got that off my chest. I've had good and bad experiences, but absolutely no idea of the rules. Maybe I should have said that at the start. Good luck and keep us posted... EDIT: Listen to the Hamster!
16.
GOOD GRIEF!!!!!! I don't think I can fault that design, it looks completely right to me. The body looks well proportioned to the neck - and I am sure its going to look stunning! We are talking 'front page material' for sure!
Centrefold! But mind the staples.
17. In no particular order Cliff Burton Steve Harris Rob Wright (nomeansno) Geddy Lee Bakithi Kumalo (off Paul Simons' Graceland)
18.
(employ the drummer).
As what? Can they get jobs? ABM btw.
19. IMHO the CIJ Geddy Lee is just chipper. Especially for lazy-arses like me who can't be bothered to stretch their left hand. Highway 1's are nice too.
20. Welcome, belated convert. Fair price on the Yam & check out the latest issue of BGM http://www.bassguitarmagazine.com/ for an article on leads...
21. I've got an ABM EVOII 500w 2x10 combo jobbie that I run with an ABM 2x10T ported cab and it sounds jolly good. Trace-y with the valve off (it has a similar mid-scoop to the Trace), tube-y with it in. The EVOIII (with on-board compression) has just come out, so you might get a good deal on an EVOII. The pair of 2x10's gives good vol & tone for the din I make (2 gits & drummer), but I wouldn't mind A/Bing it with a 1x15 just to see what it was like ... Don't get me GASing....
22. 3mm? Bloody hell, I thought a 0.73 Tortex was heavy! Check out nomeansno for some speedy pick work...
