2.
What are these? Never heard of them before?
Custom build Shuker J basses Unfortunately there will now only be 1 x 4 string version at the show
3.
I'll be around this stand too. Look forward to seeing you all there
Excellent I've just seen Phil's line-up for the weekend - looks like: 6 x Fodera 4 x Alleva Coppolo 4 x Zon 3 x Boulder Creek (I'm really looking forward to trying these) 3 x Shuker Satinline (ooh - these too!) Plus 4 or 5 of his used stock as well Couple of Bag End Cabs as well
4. Just a quick note to say Phil has managed to double the size of his stand for BassGear at very short notice So that means twice as many Fodera / Alleva Coppolo / Zon / Shuker Satinline / Boulder Creek (& whatever else he can fit in his van) for people to try out I'm helping him out on both days so come and say hi if you get a chance. . .

6.
Do it!!!! Now you're selling your basses, go 4 it! What is your stand? I'm with Stompbox (www.fxpedals.co.uk) Jim
I'm helping Phil Nixon on the Bass Gear stand
7.
Bump for I can take it to the bass show in Olympia this weekend? I'm on stand C17, come and say hi!
I'm on C5 We should have a BC members who are working at the show get together, lol. Great amp by the way - I can't believe that i recently put together a short list of amps I'd love to try back to back - Epi 902, Thunderfunk 750, SWR 900 & Aggie DB750 and they are all currently up for sale here (I already have the Aggie). If I had a spare £2.5K I'd buy all of the other three and lock myself away for a few days in a darkened soundproofed room. . .
8. These early AC's from New York will rise in value over the next few years, definitely a good decision
9. I'm over in Nashville in a couple of months - may have to get down to Lowend to check out some of these. I hear nothing but good about them from the USA
10.
Are you traveling to London soon?
Tomorrow Also at work in Holborn on Monday
11.
Hi! Is it still for sale? Cheers!
Yep - had some interest but nothing firm yet
12. Fabulous bass - this would set you back well over £4K to buy new, maybe even close to £5K as the fretboard alone was a $1,000 upgrade (and, even if you wanted one you couldn't get it because Jimmy doesn't have any more of the DN fretboards available!).
13. 78% voting for rounds at the moment - probably goes some way to show why most basses come with rounds fitted. . .
14. Maybe look out for an Aguilar DB cab in any of their more traditional colours - a tweed 2x12 would look great And the, more common, black / silver still looks very 'authentic':
15. This came with my RH450 but I hung on to when I traded the RH for a Staccato '51. The '51 has now gone as well so it's a little redundant for me now! It's in fantastic condition, looks like new really and still has its original box. Personally I'd never want an RH or '51 without one of these. It lets you set up each of your three channels and then switch seamlessly between them for live work. I always had one channel with a bit of mid cut, another with a mid bump and then a totally clean channel in case I really needed to work on tweaking eq in a nasty room. Because these amps have that great little auxiliary volume control you can really set each channel up to a similar volume and then just flip back & forth as each song demands (obviously you could also set up one channel to be a big volume boost for solos too!). It also has an invaluable mute switch which activates the tuner so you can tune directly from the pedal even if you're quite a distance from the amp Looks just like this: These seem to kick around the £125 mark so I'm offering a decent £50 off that at £75. I'll ship anywhere - I'd estimate maybe a tenner for UK at the most. Could meet up anywhere near me or get it up to central London if that helps
16. Wow - do they really charge $500 for stainless frets?
17. Wow, that Kubicki is a bit special. Never seen one even remotely like that!
18. Excellent news - I'm sure these will rise in value, such great basses for the amount they cost & yours looks particularly nice!
19. Obviously they are at the other end of the bass but it might worth seeing if Hipshot have any ultralite tuners that would fit. You could weigh one of your existing tuners and compare weights. They can make a huge difference to some basses (and would help compensate if you do decide to remove weight from the body of the bass).
20. Cobie Caillat - does this wreck whatever trace of 'cred' I ever had?
21.
A Korean one has just turned up on flea bay in Brighton for £900.... is that yours molan ?
No way - mine is up for a lot less than that Mine is virtually 'as new' and yours for only £750
22. Should be getting my white ones in a couple of weeks. I am soooo tempted to get a white head cover for my DB750 as well, lol.
23.
If I were you I'd be selling the Fender.....
Plus 1 to that!
24.
Don't do it - it's a trap, you know your're gonna come away with more than just a ticket
That's what I'm hoping
