1. These prices are only for stuff they already have in stock. Apparently some stores this is pretty limited!
2. Is that trans orange or red? My monitor is making it look more like orange - which is pretty cool!
3. Here's the link direct to the Fender page - you have to input FEBFRENZY as the offer code in your basket to show the 20% discount price.
4. Not sure that Reverb are the cheapest people to start with but 20% off is a pretty good offer. Example prices would be: US '75 RI Jazz - £1,031 US Standard Jazz - £681 (this is the cheapest US Standard in white only with choice of rosewood or maple neck. Other colours more expensive) US Standard Precision - £668 (also cheapest price but more colour options) The Rumble combos are 20% off too.

6. Price dropped now to £1,750 and open to trades for something that might be easy to sell on like a US Fender, Stingray or Lakland Skyline.
7. And down to £775 - surely that's gotta tempt someone This is a seriously nice, very playable 5 string. Would be a great first bass for someone new to 5 strings that wants a classy Fender vibe and a familiar shape, scale and spacing. . .
8.
Love that. What a stunner.
Nitro sunburst with Dalbergia Negra board is nice too though
9. Sure you don't want a '78 jazz in a nitro blue finish
10.
I know of at least 3 rehearsal rooms who have storage space. You only pay a nominal monthly fee think it was £5 a few years back. They make their money because they know you will rehearse there. Just need to work on a bit of logistics when you have a gig and need to pick up gear and return gear.
I've been to a few rehearsal rooms that have this system as well. I've also been to some that have very small 'practice' rooms with just a kit set up. They will usually allow you to cart an amp in as well. My issue with a lock-up is that it's going to be pretty obvious that you're playing and leaving instruments there so it's going to be a prime target for theft. Some have decent 24 hour security but I'm not sure how common this is.
11.
Bump! I would consider a sadowsky too... Anyone?
4's only or would a 5 be of any interest?
12.
An absolute testament to the quality and popularity of Jon's work that this has sold sooooo quickly......
Now heading towards Henley. . . Chris only beat me to it by minutes last time out
13.
sounded wicked on the motown show, this bass is awasome good luck with the sale my friend.
+1 to that
14. This looks a little OTT for a living room system. . . Made, appropriately enough, by 'Earthshaker' Sound Systems
15. Depends how new it is and, obviously, overall condition. If you want to be really sure you can sell it then I'd estimate closer to £750 than £900 with a target price around £800. I was pretty close to taking a superb one of these recently and had agreed £825 as a valuation. Also took one in PX last year & really liked it - zap me a PM if you want to know more
16. Alan and I have transacted a couple of deals - he bought the Spector NS5XL from me and we recently traded a '72 P for a Celinder J Update. Really smooth no hassle deals - and I'm loving the Celinder
17. Couple of trade offers but nothing that's tempted me so far How about a price drop for the weekend to £1,775. UK insured shipping at £30.
18. Had some interest but not sold yet so how about a price drop for the weekend Now £800. UK shipping probably around £25 - has original hard case so plenty of protection
19. have you asked Gareth - he's a bit of an Entwhistle nut http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showuser=5468
20.
Yep, will be here Monday
Perfect - put me down for first refusal if you don't like / get bored with it
21. I love the look of these Sean is a great guy to deal with as well
22. Had a question about these eating batteries in the active circuit but as far as I know this one seems to be immune from that particular problem. Maybe it was the 18V Deluxe's that had issues?
23.
Hi, I haven't put on a scale yet, but it is slightly more heavy than my J-Update 4. I can see that you have one of those, so you know what I'm talking about :-)
Mine is about 10.4 lbs I think so it's pretty 'substantial'
