1.
To be fair £1500 would constitute an offer over £1250. I'll go away now.
True, I stand corrected
 2.
Im looking for offers over £1250 regards Mark

Yes indeedie, For £1500 pounds or I may consider trades/cash for something fretless with 4 strings Thanks for the interest
Not trying to be difficult but, unless I'm reading the posts incorrectly then this bass looks like it's gone up in price by £250 in the past month?
 3. Picked this up fairly recently and really love it. Excellent core sound and simple to use without lots of flashing lights & sliders to fiddle with. Surprising combination of sounds available and all of them are good! The blue front also looks really cool I'm only selling this as I've decided not to run a rack set-up and spotted a smaller Epifani head for sale. Unlike some rack units this does have small rubber feet so it can be used free-standing if required. It's in perfect condition, doesn't even have any marks on the top from having been racked previously etc. Only change from a completely stock model is that the control knobs have been finished in black with small white dots to indicate position. Standard PS600 has completely chromed knobs and position markers which means the damn things are invisible on stage! This work has been very well finished and looks totally professional. For those of you who don't know much about these it was awarded a Bass Player magazine Editor's Award with the summary: the 600 was tinged with a golden midrange, plush-but-controlled lows, and a serene, lacy top. I never wanted for more power, and the transient response and grunt were excellent. The 600 was exceptionally pleasant sounding—it almost seemed as if the preamp filtered out harsh frequencies, leaving only buttery, smooth tone. The EQ, though limited, worked fine, but I barely touched it. If you’re a slapper who digs the scoopy thing, the mid-cut feature, with its variable level control, is for you. I tended to favor a flat tone. The 600 was clear and delicate sounding, but not wimpy. It may not be the ideal amp for gritty rock tone, but for everything else, its elegant and refined sound is among the best in bass. More details on the Epifani site : http://www.epifani.com/products/ps_600.php I've added a pic of a stock head as mine looks identical apart from the chrome knobs I'm looking for £550 which I think is a good price considering it's in perfect condition and that they list at £1,030 new at The Gallery. Based in Henley, Oxfordshire but happy to ship (at extra cost) if required.
 4.
It really is hard to capture the wood colours on the front, the darker sections aren't bad in the pics but the lighter sections are much nicer with a really lovely grain.
Ok, here's another attempt - still not great but maybe more accurate
 5. Looks like it's heading to snowy Oxfordshire fairly soon
 6.
That's a fascinating face on that bass. Good call.
It really is hard to capture the wood colours on the front, the darker sections aren't bad in the pics but the lighter sections are much nicer with a really lovely grain.
 7. Just received this interesting little beauty from Barcelona. I'm told it's an early '90's S2 and the wood is Nogal (a type of walnut). Really hard to get good pics of it as it has a high gloss finish which is causing havoc with my flash! The shot of the rear probably gives the best impression of the wood colours. I'll see if I can get some better pics at the weekend in natural light
 8. So who beat me to the punch on this one eh? As there are some obvious Sei Flamboyant fans here I thought you might like to know there's a nice looking 6'er on EBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sei-Flamboyant-6-Str...%3A1|240%3A1318 Also a really gorgeous choice of woods. . .
 9. I posted this on the Overwater section but no responses so I thought I'd open it up to a wider audience I wondered what the general differences were between the NT Progress and the BO Perception in terms of body shape, weight, core sounds etc. They look pretty similar to me but I haven't seen either up close!
 10.
I remember it well Mr M! Actually this gives me an excuse to post a pic of my H-D. Just sold it and now the proud owner of a Triumph Speed Triple!
I will always think of you as a "Fat Boy" Uggy
 11. Boy that man can play - effortless runs all over the board & tone to die for Will report more tomorrow - off to bed with a big smile on my face, thanks Mr Gouche!
 12.
I played that on a couple of occasions in the Gallery....
I sold it through them about 5 years ago. Went to Scandinavia I think.
 13. Just getting warmed up at work watching some clips from last year:
 14.
That's a tad more subtle than I expected .... or does it have a black on black flamed paint job??
It's all matt black with a matt silver frame. Previously I owned I full on 'tart's handbag' in flip/flop blue & purple with silver flashes & dripping with chrome everywhere
 15. Quick plug to say that Seb is a top man - great to deal with & super efficient in organising trades etc.
 16.
Called the O2 Empire (020 8354 3300 ) earlier and they said the show was definitely on tonight They said Chaka should be on stage about 9:00
Excellent - I tried calling but just got held in a Q for ages. Shows have to finish at 11:00 I think so should be a decent couple of hours.
 17. Haven't heard anything and transport seems much better today so hopefully everything will be all ok for tonight. On a train at the moment listening to the live album again - very loud through some 'bass friendly' 'phones - Gouche is just great accompaniment for a snowy journey
 18.
Jesus, must be a 'Blues' engine - 60 bpm Love it.........want it............now where did I leave my total loss lubricated Triumph Bonnie.......... Obviously your baby, which is cool, but Harley extras not cheap so what has it cost you over the years?
I'm afraid almost all of the work was carried out before I took ownership Previous owner spent a frightening £24K in total (including the cost of the original bike). Over £13K was the engine & gearbox build alone! Poor guy did all the work including a complete nut 'n' bolt rebuild, rode it about 5K miles and was diagnosed with a long term back problem which means he can't ride bikes with such a raked out shape. He traded wwith me for my, more conventional, riding position HD. He's put pretty much the same engine set up in that one as well now Cost me about £12.5K I guess - bit complicated as it was a PX against my old HD.
 19.
lordy!!! gruntosaurus rex!! nice...
S&S 124" engine, Baker 6 speed box, Primo belt drive, Progressive air suspension (which means handling isn't bad for an HD). Fairly 'mild' state of tune for such a big engine - probably around 120 bhp & a similar torque figure. Means it has plenty of grunt without being too temperamental
 20.
Ohh pics please
It's changed a bit since these (only really obvious thing is a lower leather seat) but these give you an idea anyway
 21. Hoping this will still be on - some London venues closed on Monday night so not sure what will happen on Tuesday
 22.
That would go very nicely with my Original four......oh the G.A.S! A great price too no less. It shouldn't hang around for long.
I wish I still had my Original 5 - the fretted one of this pair:
 23. So are you saying that you don't have your very own Mitzi or just that she doesn't 'put out' any more? I'm also 49, play bass & ride bikes I've got some copies of Bike Mag going back to '75 / '76 when I was a huge fan of Ogri. Stopped buying it for years but on a subscription again these days. Down to 3 bikes now - '06 BMW K1200GT / '07 Suzuki GSXR 1000 / '00 Harley based chop with a 2.1 litre engine but ride about 400 miles a week through out the year (but not today!).
 24.
Looking forward to getting my hands on it .
That was quick Seems like a few sales happening today with everyone stuck at home because of the snow
 25.
Thank goodness for that... thought I was going to have to break the piggy bank again!
Get the hammer out - you know another one is going to come along soon. . .
