3. Great! I built my first bass last year as a design technology studant last year, it turned out pretty well! I found that the biggest help for me was the build diary of Crimson Guitars
4. Bump for a great combo!
5. Its worth noting that the colours of the unit in the combo are reversed to a normal lmk11.
6. Only selling because i'm not going to have a car next year, so I need something that I can take on the train easily!
7.
Ooh... I forgot, Sonic Blue with matching headstock, white guard, rosewood board. Swoon.
That, or fiesta red with tort plate and ashtrays:
8. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT I have my Hartke VX2515 up for sale. This has been my main gigging amp for 2 years (bought new) and has never let me down. This amp has been used in everything 5 piece rock bands to 22 piece bigbands and everything in between, and held its own every time. Its is in great condition, but has been gigged, so the corner covers do look used. It features a single 15-inch VX paper cone driver, with a horn-loaded titanium high frequency driver. The ¾-inch plywood cabinet construction is ported and tuned for extended low-end response. The Removable HA2500 amp section supplies the combo with 250-Watts of headroom, more then enough to cover a variety of playing situations. It has variable compression, tube emulation and solid-state pre-amps, and 10-band graphic EQ give you all the tone control you could ever need. It weighs in at 72lbs so it is a one person lift, and it comes with high quality castors (not fitted) and screws, so transporting it is a doddle. Pictures : There is a slight area where the white has rubbed off part of the hartke badge, but this could be touched up very easily if it bothers you. Also, one slider tip is missing, but this does not affect the operation of the EQ in any way. There are one or two slight surface scratches on the back. The screws used to remove the head have rounded off, but the head is still removable, by unscrewing the other mounts on the side. I am based in south wales and can deliver fairly locally for petrol, (Cardiff Swansea etc, just ask) otherwise I would prefer collection (Collection now available from south Wales (preferred!) or Oxford, or Stoke area...) or a meet up, but I will post at the buyers expense (postage must involve insurance) Im am looking for [s] £250[/s] [s] £240 ONO [/s] £230 collected. Thats £270 off the RRP, and £160 off the best high street prices! Here is a link to the Hartke website and here is a link to my feedback thread
9. I just sold a hardcase to Tredders, Great communication and a very smooth sale. - very pleased! Great guy to deal with!
10. Thanks alot, firstly to 'flatwound' who was kind enough to give away the strings in return for a bit of foreign currency, and to 'tredders' - a sale couldn't go any smoother!
11. The head should come out fairly easily by undoing the screws (you may need to take off the corner protectors to get at some of them) And it will be exactly the same as a normal Ha3500, including the lid on top (well mine is anyway!), this can be rackmounted or boxed or whatever fairly easily. You could then remove the wood creating the space where the head was, leaving you with a 4 x 10 and a separate head, which may be more convenientt, as those hartke heads are pretty heavy! But I'd probably try and sell it and get what you really want!
12.
It appears to be a 61-62, and it might be worth about 100 times what you paid for it.
Niiice!
13. Hehe, no pressure, I shouldn't have really plugged it so obviously!
14. Updated again with more collection/delivery info.
15. ahem.. I've got a great one for sale, see the link in my sig.. If you decide to go for it, it might be possible meet up in Staffordshire somewhere as my girl friend is in Keele uni...
16.
Thanks, yeah it can be removed but it looks a hassle! has about 20 bolts securing it.
Yeah its the same with my hartke combo!
17.
Yup, nice to hear from another pro a bit more often! And I do have a soft spot for the new Take That tunes (oh and Million Love Songs...tune). Ian don't suppose you know who has the bass chair on Wicked at the moment?, saw it the other week, and although you don't really expect any less from pro players and written parts, the playing was excellent! Si *edit* Actually I do remember looking up the name in the program at the time, but was unknown to me, should just check again when I get home haha
I saw it not long ago too, and was also very impressed, there were some great fretless bits!
18.
Main problem being i have no woodworking tools! (apart from a drill and maybe a hacksaw)
I hate to say it, but a hacksaw isnt a woodworking tool
19. Love that tone! Sounds awesome! And great playing, I could listen to you soloing on that all day!
