Genz Benz Streamliner vs Shuttle - what is the difference?
Gordon Thudmaster May replied to Paul S's topic in Amps and Cabs
I've Both, Shuttle and Streamliner both 900w! I use the Shuttle in Blues/Rock bands, and the Streamliner in Country bands! I use 2x Bergie HD210 cabs, I think it's a matter of 'pay your money and make your choice' saying that I do prefer the 'older/warmer' sound of the Streamliner, it's probabbly due to the 3 pre-amp valves! Still can't fault either amp though! -
Fortunately not, but then I don't play in 'bleeding ears' type bands. Frankly, I've never understood musicians - who depend on their hearing - not taking more care of their ears, especially when it is so easily done. It's like a painter or photographer sticking pins in their eyes. Why?
Never played in 'bleeding ears' type of band! Country/folk/roots is what I do! Most times it's just mildly amplified! So can't explain how it decided it should be me!

2002 MIA Fender Precision (tobacco sunburst)
Gordon Thudmaster May replied to Timus's topic in Basses For Sale
To be honest I'm not sure weather to sell or not at the moment. Truth is I started life as a drummer but after band practice we used to swap instruments and I always played the bass - and wasn't too bad. When the band ended I sold the kit and got on with life but a few years ago I decided to see if I could learn how to play bass properly. While I did learn how to play 'a bit' I also learned I was nowhere near as good a bass player as I was a drummer.. So to sell or not to sell. I really don't know, either way its too much of a bass for a lightweight player like me. Not the best pic - but here one I took earlier IF IN DOUBT KEEP IT!!!!!!!! IF
-
