1. No real GAS for things i don't need. Looking out for a 4 string Fender PJ in sunburst at a reasonable price. Then going to start building up a small pedal bored, think EBS Multicomp, Octobass & Wah/Volume Pedal. Maybe a Microbass 2 if funds allow. Ear plugs should be coming any day now & some new IEM. Looking at it now, quite a bit of saving needs to be done!
 2.
The DL guy has really upped the bar for pop/funk bass. Some of these lines are really out of the box. I would love to be able to play like that but, I learned a long time ago, if you keep trying to 'keep up' with the fastest guns, you can waste a lot of time not finding your own voice. As a jazz player that is wasted time but, all that aside, I wish anyone who wants to nail this the best of luck. And if anyone does get it written down, I'll be the first to download it!!
Theres one written down hear Bilbo, albeit with Tab as well as standard notation. http://www.tonydickinson.net/media/Dirty%20Loops%20-%20Just%20Dance.pdf
 3.
Those wires are actually across the output section, not the input section.... though the photo does make it look like it is..... but it isn't
Are you sure? Looking at the manual, it calls it a Barrier Strip Input & is only pictured when talking about inputs.
 4.
Nice song. Really liked the inventive use of a skateboard for a camera mount.
Thanks

 11.
Nice song, really like the idea for the vid but found the wobbly camera a little off putting
Yeah, we'll it was recorded on an iPhone with the contraption in the photo below. Not ideal but for a spur of the moment thing I can't complain.

 17.
This has been covered before but I'll say it again- I am a fan. Love it. Self-indulgent and frilly and produced and I love it even more. Try this- skip to about 0.57 and watch it all- even past the speaking etc- insane drumming.
I can't get enough of these guys. Been watching them since their first vid. I'm assuming you've seen this one, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfGjOEaDWFw
 18. Loosen the black screw on the saddle of the sharp string, then move it away from the neck. I'll attach a really good guide for setting up basses.
 19. I've got loads of handmade neutrik/vandamme cables sat in my garage that aren't being used, Lengths from 5m to 30m. If you want any, give me a pm and i'll work out a nice bass chat price for you. I'm just not using them.
 20. Hey guys, selling this amp on behalf of my brother. The amp looks used but it hasn't been abused. The vinyl covering is tatty in places from various tours but it in no way affects the amplifier itself. The wooden runners for the base of the combo have been removed as it doesn't fit in the case with them on. It comes with a wheeled flight case for the combo. When paired together, this thing sounds huge! The closed back extension cabinet really compliments the open back combo with some real bottom end. Its been sat cased, unused for the past 3 months and is just taking up space so he wants rid. The amp was fully serviced by ProAudioSystems about a year ago with a full re-vavlve with JJ tubes. Unfortunately when i got it out of the case this morning, the reverb isn't working, as you turn it up you just get buzzing. I'm assuming its just a dodgy wire or dry joint as the amp hasn't been used. Also comes with spare Electro Harmonix tubes that were taking out when servicing. Comes with 2 marshall foot pedals for the reverb & channel switching, one with an LED, one without. 1 Neutrik Speaker Cable. Looking for £850ono for the lot. Collection is much preferred from Huddersfield or Manchester but delivery/meet up can be arranged. Stats for the combo,

Power: 50 watts RMS (90 watts Peak)
Channel Configuration: Clean / Dirty
Speaker Output: 1 x 16ohms (2 x 8ohms)
Reverb: Tube Driven
Footswitch Function: Channel / Reverb
Hi/Lo Damping: Yes
Valve Failure Protection: Yes
Preamp Valves: 4 x ECC83 / 12AX7
Power Valves: 4 x 6V6
Reverb Valve: 2 x ECC81 / 12AT7
Mains Fuses: 100 / 120V - T5 A (220 / 240V - T2 A)
HT Fuses: F250 mA
Clean Channel Controls: Volume, Bass, Treble
Dirty Channel Controls: Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble
Other Controls: Reverb

 21. Check out iRealB
 22. If you already have the audio recording gear, look for a nice HD video camera & don't worry too much about the audio quality of it because you won't be using it. I use my iPhone or iPad for all my videos, record into logic or protools then put it all together in iMovie.
 23. I find having a reliable transparent amp, a versatile bass & are able to adapt new techniques for new situations you can get by in any situation. Well it works for me anyway.
 24. Just use E minor pentatonic and you'll quickly find something you like that sound of.
