Just a couple of keyboards then

I'm in a 8 piece function band. (Bass, Drums, Guitar, Keys, Percussion, Sax & 2 female singers) But on big shows we have upped to a 11 piece with a second sax & 2 backing singers. My originals band has 4. (bass, drums, guitar & Keys. The keys player is the singer)

Cheers guys, I've been a bit tardy as of late but have 20 or so to add on there, most will be notation only until I get time to tab it, but I'm introducing a new way of tab to encourage reading.

I switched from Black Beauties to Elixirs about 8 months ago after some fault packs and haven't looked back since. Sure they don't look as nice but they still sound fantastic!!

The only benefit I can see from that is muscle memory in the dark. The method I recommend is all down to ears. Hold a drone C on a keyboard or on the computer & play a C major scale over it. Your ears & hands should instantly recognise flat & sharp notes and accordingly correct. This method takes reliance on eyes well out of the equation without having to sit in a dark room & look odd to your other half.

To practice intonation, play scales & arpeggios against a drone note & let your ears tell you fingers where to go
