No pics, no Berg.....
Pics coming
Congratulations Jake! What preamp are you using with it? Make sure you save as quick as possible for the extension. I thought I didn't want it til I actually tried it, then I realised I needed it... it's just THE definitive bass sound with massive low end extension that appears from nowhere. And the headroom... forget about it!
Don't worry, i'm saving already And i'm using a EBS Microbass at the moment. Need a preamp installing in my Siggery, then i think i'm going to look at either the Avalon U5 or the Reddi Di

Hey guys, Got a TC Electronics G major for sale in mint condition. Its been cased all its life. Included in the sale is a warwick 2u shallow case, a behringer floorboard to control the unit & 2 planetwaves midi cables. I'm looking for £250 + £10 delivery. I'm pretty sure i've still got all the boxes and manuals so will dig them out! The floorboard is well used but has always been 100% and is a metal casing.

I know on my mixer you can just push the mono jack cable halfway into the insert, and it takes the signal but doesn't break the chain.
I love that bassline! Sounds great to me. What's the setup for recording?
Bass --> EBS Microbass II ---> Mbox min --> Protools with a touch of compression.

Just a quick recording of smooth. Just testing my new mbox & microbass! Excuse some of the slip-ups, can't change the pages & play at the same time
Excellent tone and timing... this sounds "easy" but it's not. Every note counts and you can't hide behind noisy drums etc.. Great feel, you don't rush and that's not that obvious.
Cheers dude I deffinitely rush the fill at 4.37!
Beautifully done Jake.....this track was one of the highlights for me when I saw Santana live in Vegas......mate, you nailed it.
Thankyou Tinman! I've seen Santana twice and they blown me away both times. Second time i saw them last year, i was only 2 rows back right in the middle

Why do people keep requesting tabs in this forum?
When/where have you heard our Lithuanian friend play? Or is this one of those baseless notions that somehow being able to read music makes all your playing lifeless and sterile? Cos I think Jamerson, Pastorius and Flea (pick whichever one(s) you like) probably put paid to that notion a long while ago.
I've never said anything about reading notation. As it happens, i spend an hour minimum a day on sightreading skills. And here, Oh, and flea can't read music, well he couldn't through all the albums up to bssm. -
It p1sses me off also.. I find this section one of the most interesting ones, but those 'tab ones' just put me down.. Can't we sort anything for those tab-lovers?
Wow,you sound like a complete @rse. Just because some people don't have the time or inclinations to learn songs by ear or read the dots doesn't mean you can think your superior. Oh, and just because you can, its never going to put feeling into you lifeless sterile playing -
