I'd be really interested - but how can I find out if it will fit a Vectra 2007? They seem difficult to buy aftermarket stereos for as it's quite a big standard stereo.
Your best bet is go to halfords. Do you have steering wheel controls & do you still want them to work? Bascially what you need is a facia plate for your car. An audio harness to take vauxhalls connecter into a standard ISO. Then if you want your steering controls to work you'll also need an SOT lead. A facia plate is normally about £18 but i'm pretty sure a vectra is a double din so your probably looking at about £50. The audio harness is gonna be £15, then the SOT leads go from £30-£60. I would get you some exact prices but i'm not back at work until sunday. If you need any more help just give us a shout. Jake

Hey, Looking to trade this bass for a more classic sounding jazz or p. The bass has an EBS preamp which really sings. Its just too bright for my needs atm. The action on this is crazy low and it plays itself. It's strung with an almost new set of EBS strings & comes with a hardcase! Condition wise is good apart from a dink on the top side of the neck around the 4th fret. If i could afford i'd keep this and buy another as i've kept hold of this bass for a while, its a dream to play. It does the slap thing amazingly Not interested in selling, only trades thanks. Can meet up or deliver Cheers, Jake

How expensive can earphones possibly be?!
JakeBrownBass replied to kevbass's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
I was looking for some inner ear headphones.....and erm...found these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SHURE-PROFESSIONAL-D...=item4837c6d175
Honestly, don't turn your nose up until you've tried them. I use the scl5 for in ears, which are basically the professional version of those, and the sound quality is simply amazing. And the fact that you can have it nice and quit means your protecting your ears. win win -
I'd say stick it in its case and forget about it. It will be a nice inheritance for the kids as the value is only going to go up, and you and your mate won't be around But being serious, i really wouldn't touch it

Ta.
Totally agree with this. Especially if your trying to sell the same thing and want to try and work out the market value for it!
You've got to wonder - after the active preamp in the bass, the Avalon and the Redthing DI..what is the Aguilar contributing? These days I don't envy the gear, just having someone else who is employed to move it all and set it up. Luxury.
I'm not sure but it sounds bloody fantastic

From what I know, you need great chops, great ears & being able to read is a massive bonus. You need to be able to have chemistry with players straight off the beat. A people person. In terms of getting the sessions, its all down to networking & who you know. Getting your foot in the door is the easy bit, getting through the door isn't!
... and nothing at all if it's of no interest to you. I'm confident some people will be interested to see it.
I didn't mean any offence with my comment. It was just that there was 5 seconds of blurry picture of him playing bass. You can't exactly hear the bass on the video so i didn't quite get what the fuss was
