If this isn't cheap ignore me, Warwick's have never been my thing, but I'm sure this is a steal.
That's a Kay, not a Teisco - Teisco never made copies. Might be a laugh if it was £20, but pushing £70 delivered is a bit OTT for that, I think...
Well it's close enough - Teisco purchased Kay in the late 60's. I used to have a Kay branded Teisco from about 1969.
How much do you think it's worth then. Not that I'm intending getting it like... but when I look at it I can't help thinking that a dip into the holiday fund and a thick ear from the missus wouldn't be such a hardship for this thing of beauty. edited for spelling
Yeah, how much? Lampeter is where my in-laws live.... edit - having seen his other auction, i know he's on the same road, recognised it straight away!!
Again - shockingly expensive, particularly considering it's not original & you'd need to remove all the crap he's slapped over it.
Is there anything concrete in what i've read that there were "series" of columbus guitars? mine have varied in quality, and this one looks quite cheap. Logo and headstock are different to anything i've seen as well. -

I had one a few years ago. Nice recording bass, very even pickup output. Something bothered me about the neck, and I never figured out what, it just didn't feel right. Don't know if it was the profile or the radius or what. That said, I'd still pick up another one if I saw one for the right price. I only sold it because we had a baby...

Am I correct in thinking that jazz bass pickguards vary in size between the models? How different is this sizing? I've got two J copies, one scratchplate I ordered fit perfectly on one, the other needs modifying a little to fit the bell plate, but otherwise it lines up. Have I been lucky, or are the differences not that noticable?

I think the crux is the end bit, "cab not included..." I've reported it.
-
Like the second poster, I don't like using it because the sound I get from my amp is great, but where a pedal colours the sound slightly I've got two cheap EQ's, and Arion and Behringer which are fine for adding a little bit back here and there. The Arion is my favourite, used it when I was a guitarist and it was great for a chuggy metal sound.
-
I bought one of the Behringer BSY600 Bass Synthesisers, and it's lots of fun, but I can't actually find a use for it!! I've tried rolling back the volume of the effect in comparison with the dry so it's less in your face, but it still sounds like a space invaders game I think I may have wanted a envelope filter, I'm going for the bass sound from the jamiroqui track from Godzilla, which is dirty but has something else on it.....
